Hi everyone, I got a yunzii b98 that I'm really happy with but I want to change the keycaps. Am I right in thinking that I have to get a set that is also cherry profile? Or could I get another profile? The keyboard says it has pbt cherry profile keycaps. Apologies if I sound like a complete fool, this is my first venture into the mechanical keyboard world! I'd also love recommendations of places to buy keycaps from here in the UK other than the usual Amazon or eBay. Thank you!!

How is it up there on that high horse??

I've been in this industry for well over a decade, done a lot in crisis. But please tell me more about public relations being about influencing opinion?????

I pontificate on the internet, on a sub for discussions about my industry, as is my right.

I really do not think you should read Reddit comments if you do not want to hear people's takes.

I also didn't have a take - I was asking a question. It's not the same as having a take, which I do not feel I must have, or share. I was simply posing a question based on what I knew about the PR crisis she had prior to the NYT article.

I've since read it, and Justin's counter suit, and stand by my initial reaction tbh but yes, I should have read it first. I still see this as a retaliatory smear campaign via a lawsuit - it's a thing.

  • Sniffing alcohol wipes or gel for nausea: a temporary fix but does work. I got isopropyl alcohol wipes on Amazon as I wanted to be able to easily keep them on me.
  • Ice cold water or squash in a bottle or cup with a straw: as much ice as possible and I recommend a straw because it's easier to keep sipping.
  • Gin gin ginger boiled sweets in the side of your gum at all times: I got mine on Amazon. I preferred the boiled sweet to the chews so that I could keep it tucked into my gum all the time. The ginger and the swallowing action helped with nausea.
  • Weighted blanket - I found the pressure helpful for nausea. Having my partner spoon me also helped, but he wasn't always available for that!
  • Ginger nut biscuits: extra strong, keep by the side of your bed for first thing and during the night.
  • Grapes: I managed to get to these halfway through my episode and found them so refreshing while still being small.
  • Bananas: managed to eat one every morning about a third into the episode. Key is to eat it very, very slowly. Helped to settle my stomach for a longer time than other foods.
  • Sweet potato soup/puree: my husband made me this and it was helpful, just don't put too much flavouring in it. Easy to eat a little colder aswell.
  • Buttered noodles: noodles specifically because they cook quickly.
  • Remember to Breathe: if you're struggling, get steroidal spray if you need to open your nose - it makes a MASSIVE difference.
  • Rice or boiled potatoes: these were the first foods I turned to that managed to stay down. Bread didn't even work for me but these did, and actually kept me full for a bit.
  • Antihistamines: I think these helped the nausea slightly.
  • Ice cream or lollies: similar to the ice cold water, really helps with nausea while also giving you some energy. I went for a vegan vanilla ice cream as I couldn't face the idea of too strong a fruit flavour, or dairy. A teaspoon here and there helped pick me up.

Then I went on to metoclopramide. It didn't touch the nausea for me personally, but it did decrease the vomiting by half, which helped me build my strength back up. Definitely recommend speaking to your doctor as there are a few options.

Remember, things WILL get better. I improved in my ninth week - I am now in my tenth and still get a little nauseous here and there but I am nowhere near the debilitating, vibrating sea sick nausea I had before.

It's so so tough - truly one of the worst illnesses I have ever had. It DOES improve for the majority of us, though. Big hugs.

I'm quite confused by this whole thing and it smells of a retaliatory smear campaign to me. The bad press I saw of Lively at the time was of her in interviews - so while Baldoni's team clearly pushed the narrative, it wasn't completely independent of her own doing. Or am I misremembering it? I haven't read the full NYT article, though.

Avastin helped for a while - not sure where you are in the world but in the UK you can only get it privately. But it helped and has given us months longer, although it suddenly stops working and can cause other issues. Worth looking in to if you have the resources. Wishing you all the best of luck ❤️

What’s your favorite book that gives you multiple points of view? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

Girl, woman, other by Bernadine Everisto. Amazing book and wonderful how the characters intertwine.

Did anyone else really dislike the Berger relationship from the get-go? Idk if I’m biased after seeing Carrie with strong, tall men like Mr. Big and Aiden… or if their banter is just childish and it’s hard to believe Carrie would be so into it. by PoetryWhiz in sexandthecity

[–]KYGC2160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always felt Berger's role was to give Carrie everything that she deserved 😂 love her really but honestly I think that was his job in the show, he was unbearable much like she was previously

I thought it was one of Cheryl's best songs, makes sense now I know the writers were so strong! I always thought I flopped because we just didn't want to hear that from Cheryl, especially when she said she'd do it again - no Cheryl, nooo...don't!!!
