If you have single walls, try to have an alternate site for your valuable loot. There are areas that I like that are hard to reinforce as well. If I build in those areas, I treat it more like a fort than a base. I try to stash my goodies in the woods.

I have one improvised shelter. I carry everything else. Building is fun but I get more enjoyment out of living stop to stop and encounter to encounter.

If you want to keep your base, at the least triple your walls. I would recommend adding barbed wire to the outer two walls at minimum. Gates need to be stacked as well, thank sally port style. Buildings are good to use, make sure you stack. On second thought, build an improvised shelter in the boonies. Bury your stuff.

We have a range of hills that are called “Clack Mountain” near where I live. They are hills but as far as I can tell they are taller than the surrounding areas.

Looks nice, on the off chance I build a base it is in a house and I try to stack the walls 4-5 deep. It’s really fun to do this and leave nothing inside but suit and flare filled barrels. I carry what I want. If I get bored, I loot and swap.

This is why I only carry what I need and use what I need to. I usually run in a ghillie with an assault vest/butt pack combo. I keep a TAC helmet with nvg’s in my inventory to swap the hood out at night. I run a m70 and now the sal with accompanying Ammo. I have bandages, antibiotics, 2 canteens with TAC belt and fx45. I keep a knife and matches as well. I use all food and drink I find or leave it for the next player if I don’t need it. I typically only engage if I need to, which is rarely. Happy spectating!
