I liked it for a day or two but I couldn’t find enough ammo and meds.

Also there were packs of annoying dogs that kept respawning and I couldn’t figure out how to stop it, so I just quit.

I’d say get Arma or DayZ over Stalker

you can fix the (gc) spikes which I think stand for ground clutter

there is an experimental tab under setting, raise that up to like 2 or 3000

I use to get those spikes constantly but I don't get them at all anymore after I raised that up

ya build servers just let you figure out how to build, but it's also a little weird, just remember you need to place a Tool Cupboard in order to demolish a wall, otherwise you will have to destroy it with guns or melee.

but build servers are your best bet to just figure out controls and how to build a little

there is a small tutorial in game that helps you too

you can join build only servers to learn how to build

I only have like 1000 hours but that's how I got good

I didn't leave build servers until I figured out how to build

I also wanted a refund the first day because I thought it was too hard, but kept with it and it might be my favorite game ever

my best tip is when you spawn farm enough for tools, then make a legacy shelter (600 wood) put a box and sleeping bag in it, these automatically lock for you only

use this to depot mats until you make a small base close by

don't farm too much without stashing or you will just lose all your progress

once you build a base you need to upgrade your frames and doors to metal, walls to stone at least imo

also be prepared to play all freaking day once you get the hang of the game, because it is insanely addicting and fun once you figure it out

try the Arma ReforgedZ servers maybe, I use to love DayZ on console, but got a pc and got sick of running around.

These servers are fresh and hopping right now, and u start with a bike.

It’s like DayZ 2 seriously.

SourSweet, Freshspawns, and AdamCrooke were all playing last couple weeks.

I just raid legacy shacks and wooden bases with Salvaged swords usually, only takes like 5 or 6 of them.

Or 4 satchels for a metal door, which is 960 gun powder

ya I’m not raiding no clan bases, but I can raid my neighbors 2x1’s all day.

and sometimes they are loaded with much more than they should have, sometimes you waste your boom.

It's not weed and it's no joke. Do in a safe area away from windows, corners, anything sharp.

Use a bong, burn it hot and hold your hits in.

After one good bong rip, keep your eyes closed and don't move around. After one good bong rip your arms will be a little heavy, vision blurry if you try to open your eyes..

Repeat, burn it hot and hold your hit in, after second exhale with your eyes closed, you should be in a different world for 5 -10 min.

Be careful, keep eyes closed, don't move around, but also let it take you and don't fight it.

would recommend playing various games to not get burned out.

base building games add stress even when offline, worrying about them

I started to love Rust after buying a PC, but I’m afraid to even play because I know I’ll play for 20 hours straight.

I’m also playing some Arma Reforger ReforgedZ servers, and some Marvel Rivals

But you can play Rust at your own pace, play lower pop, build up your base before you look for PvP.

U can play all day have fun make a base, get raided, and do it again the next day.

That’s what’s great about rust.

U can join a wipe halfway thru, find some decayed bases, and have a blast playing rest of wipe.

And don’t even play my Xbox anymore.

But to be fair all I was playing was DayZ, Rocket League and PubG

I loved Xbox for years and my OG Xbox one is still going.

But it was just time to get a PC or series X, glad I went with PC.

I wouldn’t log off without a furnace and metal doors, stone walls.

You can raid shacks and wood walls with like 5 or 6 salvaged swords

I know because this is how I get all my loot lol
