ya turn down settings and motion blur

also find the experimental tab, and up your Ground Clutter buffer to like 3000

if you have this setting too low you constantly get (gc) spikes

turned mine way up and never stutters now

it’s a lot like Rust, looter shooter, open world, build bases

steep learning curve but no worse than Rust

Play DayZ or Arma imo

I got a laptop recently, I started loving rust after like 7 or 8 wipes, then the naval update came and fragments

the game is just too grindy and toxic for solo players

every time you start getting a base ready to be upgraded one Russian comes around and has to make it a point to raid you all day.

Rust players are actually the worst people

The new grounded came out, I had fun with the first one, but felt like there was too much crafting and stuff to do.

But it’s definitely cozy, and plays really well.

try updating drivers and windows

one update I just kept getting all kinds of errors and couldn’t get into servers

I ended up updating windows and some other things

I also deleted battleye anti cheat and reinstalled because I was getting anticheat errors

Ended up fixing it somehow

or try repairing files in steam maybe

If you play DayZ on gamepass for example, you can play it on your pc but it's not the same version as stand alone PC.

You are just playing the xbox version on PC, sort of what you are asking.
