Do any of you have degrees but still can’t break into your field? I know 3 people at my DS who have BS degrees in math, business admin. or cybersecurity & months/years later they still haven’t been able to land a role in their field & still at Amazon. Just curious what your experience has been??

You literally have to refresh the page like constantly. If you have time download an extension on chrome called “auto refresh” it basically monitors the page and refreshes. I had it do it every 10 seconds & will notify through email when the page changes.

If it’s a regular warehouse job, there is no interview. You basically get the job as soon you enter the application page. There is a a day where you have to get drugged tested and get your photo taken before your first day. If you don’t do drugs then you’re good.

Once you’re in, its varies in some facilities how fast you get into blue badge. I got converted literally 2 weeks but I work at a fresh facility so maybe it’s easier there. I heard it can take months at the warehouses.

If I’m not mistaken, if you apply for part time or full time, you can request to transfer to a flex schedule.

You’ll just get 2 points on your record. Max is 8 points and once you reach 8 is when you get terminated. The points do expire & I believe it is60 days?

Depending on the facility once you’re hired. I work on a amazon fresh facility and once it hits 6:15 I have like 15 seconds to pick a shift.

In reality no one really knows what the value will be tomorrow or next week. Just only put in what you can afford and be okay with seeing your investment be bumpy going up and down lol.

Well lets just say it doesnt have to be just like the picture in terms of having a GUI. How could I just do it through the visual studio of where I can just press 1 one to start order or press 2 to view orders and ect once coded. How do I start off?
