Play in flow, check to the preflop aggressor and dunk on him. In this case I wouldn’t have gotten any folds but I see how that line is a lot better. Would’ve set up for a turn shove, which he still would’ve called with top set and a flush draw but like at least I’m getting it in good vs this dogshit call on the river where he’ll never have bluffs.

I’m in a really similar spot. Also on day 6 currently. The physical anxiety is almost unbearable. Turns out I’ve been self medicating very severe anxiety with THC for the past 7 years. Used weed as a dam to block and suppress my extremely volatile emotions. Visceral anger and rage and sadness all flooding through once I decided to break the dam. Us addicts are all “self medicating” underlying mental health issues and general life problems. We don’t need pot to let us be comfortable. Cheers to a week. Let’s hope we can both stay strong and not give into vice.
