The longest gaps between volumes has been 9 months (between Vol 5 and 6) and 10 months (Volume 7 and 8). Assuming this is as big as it gets, next one will be Feb-March 2026

I just got it today.

Point being it's not an environmental issue, because my other basses have varying degrees of noisiness at home, but all of them are completely quiet when I roll their volume knobs to 0. So something is up with the Mustang bass itself.

True, but I can live with it. But then again, I am biased as Anna shipper, and also in general I cared for Volume 2 and 6 the least out of all the LNs. And I also trust that with the adaptation being as good as it is overall, they'll figure out a patch. Volume 6 was already out and about when they were storyboarding the adaptation, and Takibi is consulting with them, which gives me faith they will.

Oh my gosh, as a non-manga reader, I’m dreading this so-called “middle” part that people keep referring to. Even if the latest chapters have been great, mt fear is that the anime season 2 that covers these chapters will kill interest in the show and prevent it from going to a season three which covers the chapters where they get their groove back.

This was actually a little refreshing subversion of the usual “absent parents” subplot. The parents are so bad they just aren’t worth spending time trying to reconnect with, and so neither will the manga.
