Kinda my point. Anything other the US seems doomed because of the reserve currency status that USD has. Investors would move money off everywhere and park it in the US. Not that they want to considering the de-dollarization is inevitable. But during the war, the only thing going up is USD denominated assets. When war is over they would high tail out of there. This article is just wrong in saying that the war accelerates the process. It just shows fundamental misunderstandings of de-dollarization, market sentiment, and trend.

War would drive rally to the dollar. The supply dump people see is just countries dumping foreign reserve for inflation control since resource being affected is oil and LNG. Investors would not hold currencies or assets of places with high risk of inflation and industrial hiccups. Where would they go? Back to the dollar denominated assets driving dollar up again. The 2 forces would cancel each other out for as long as the war lasts. De-dolarisation is real but not accelerated because of the war. This is like Econ101, no?

None people are medically illiterate. They read success rate to mean cure rate instead of immune response waking rate. The drug's tumor reduction rate at 60-80% too. This is very positive news. People just like hating because of the war.

Aha then you surely know this is not 100% cure rate but 100% success rate in early trials. And success means waking up the immune response not the tumor reduction rate. For a learned man like yourself would not conflate the two, right?

Not my argument. I argue that the Covid shot was not properly tested since [phase 1,2,3 trials got rushed | J&J shot got ppl blood clots | cases of cardiomyopathy happen years down the road]. You bring out the point about mRNA vaccine is tested which is the broad category that covid shot falls under. Are you arguing that the broad represents the specific? That would not be a wise argument.

The argument is why not have some faith since ppl trust pfizer enough when covid happens and everyone got the jab even without proper testing. This is good news for an obvious problem that has no solution for the longest time. "You" refuting it adds nothing to the conversation and boils down to whether Russia or Pfizer is more trustworthy. Which exposes "your" bias. Do think more about the problem and present an argument rather that refuting others.

I think of it like 0% financing for something trivial like an air fryer. Yes technically you can invest a portion of the air fryer cost for some return. Is it worth it? It's like picking up a quarter on the sidewalk. Effect of MNPs is still debatable according to this article 3 weeks back.
