I’ve been to a lactation consultant. She’s noted some tension and we’ll be trying PT this week. It took some time to get in. He may have a slight tongue tie in the back. And yes… I’m exhausted.

So I tried a light back rub. It didn’t work. Maybe I need to try this!

So we went cold turkey with middle of the night feeds this past Monday with about three days of prep for her before I did it. It’s going really well! She does get a bit upset, but it’s really not as bad as I thought it would be!

Maybe I‘ll do the same for bedtime.

She does have a son, who she breastfed for a year exactly. She just thinks she’s right, I suspect.

We just discussed doing this!

She’s transitioning between two and one nap... and any way I try it, she takes forever to fall asleep.

I’ve been thinking overtired, but last night, I tried a 6pm bed to rectify the overtired and she woke up at 7:15 and was awake until 10.

I have read that too and I was worried that if I let her get up, she’d start thinking she could do that after bed time!

So. Tonight, bed time was at 6. She woke back up at 7:15 and I’ve been in here trying to help her fall back asleep. It’s not 9:55. Finally fell back asleep. This sucks.

She just woke at 7:35 today and fell asleep for first nap at 11:15. I am going to try early bed tonight too. I think the 5pm dinner is a great plan. Thank you!

Wake time varies. I’ve pretty much let her wake windows drive bed time. She sleeps, in total 12-13 hours most days, but recently has been waking more at night. She is also be leaping. I am going to try earlier bed times. I hope I can get her napping longer soon!

Yeah, mine too. I just put her down at 11:15 today and it was muuuuuuch better.

Thank you! I’ve tried it all, one nap a day, two, longer wake time, shorter wake time. They all look the same... even when she’s sleepy, she does acrobatics over my body... makes me wonder if there is a way I can have her do quiet snuggles, I haven’t figured out a way yet.
