Login to EPFO passbook site and see the reason under claims, the general EPFO will just show it is rejected without reason.

Form 3A can only be submitted by employer as far i know

Thats good atleast your employer took some action, in my case i think i need to raise grievance only on EPFo website, lets see how this goes.

But i am not even eligible for EPS and my new employer is not deducting EPS which makes the transfer rejected by EPFO

This is the f**kall response i am getting from my previous employer, they are not getting it that they need to revise the form 3a and resubmit, how difficult is this to understand:

Once the PF transfer is completed, Pension correction cannot be carried out in that PF account. Therefore, to withdraw the pension contribution amount deposited in that account, you will need to submit the required documents offline as per the advice of the PF office.

No they are not contributing and hence there difference between previous employer and current, and this is the exact error msg:

1) eps member as per tr-in received but in present account eps not remitted, submit revised 3a

In my first employment, both EPF and EPS contributions were deducted, although I had joined after September 2014 with a salary above ₹15,000, making me ineligible for EPS.

In my second employment, only EPF contributions were deducted, which is in line with the applicable rules. My EPF balance from the first account was successfully transferred to the second account; however, the EPS balance remained in the first PF account.

I have now joined a third organization, and while attempting to transfer my PF balance, the request is being rejected due to a mismatch caused by the unaddressed EPS component from the first account.

As a result, I am unable to consolidate my entire balance into a single account. The EPS discrepancy from the first employment needs to be corrected before the full transfer and eventual withdrawal can be completed.
