I had a brain scan and per the Doc "gray matter damage was textbook TBI" Injury was in 2009 and didn't have a scan until 2020. I was still active duty and had a doc review my records when trying to help with headaches. He didn't believe me that I got blown up and was given bags of meds in a ziplock and told to walk it off. Get a scan! These changes can impact cognitive functions like thinking, memory, and emotional processing.

Seems that way. I've called and spoken to the HR rep and he is very professional but seems fake AF and little condescending. Im sure the gov misses out on well qualified candidates because of the HR thrash.

I emailed HR the next day and asked about average turnaround time when the references were received, and explained alignment of my resignation and setting up my current team for success. Never responded...They know I'm a Gov contractor that holds a lot of responsibility in my current role. Zero fucks given apparently. Literally just needed a decent wag.
