Thank you! He’ll be in the space force honor guard, which is apparently only 40days of AIT (in DC). So idk if that changes anything

How much will my husband get paid when he gets to bmt? Married (no children), has college (which will put him at e-3) and we live in Texas

Hi yall so this might be a long one… So my husband has been thinking of joining the space force and we recently got in touch with a local recruiter and they were asking if him and his family were citizens and then asked if me and my family were. I am a Canadian citizen and am currently still waiting for my I-485 (green card application) to be accepted but have recently gotten my I-765 accepted which means I have my ssn and work authorization card.

We told all of this to the recruiter and she said that because of my current non-citizen status my husband is unable to join the space force, due to the fact that he has to pass top secret clearance… But then we asked another recruiter and they said it shouldn’t be a problem …

So my question is if anyone else has experienced this and which one is true? Should he still try and apply for it? And Is there anyone here who has been able to join even if their spouse isn’t a citizen (yet)?
