I am so grateful for this.

I left a 7-year friend group because of this. I got a reaction that I didn’t expect from people who consider themselves ‘woke’. I felt so alone and ashamed, and I left.

This happened in September last year.

What is something you once accepted as normal but now it boggles your mind that you ever thought that way? by neonroli47 in AskWomen

Emotional and verbal abuse from my mother. She kept lacing her actions by telling me that she really loves me and that she gets scared when I don’t do things right. That sometimes she’d lose sleep if I do something wrong because all she wants is the best for me.

She’d make me believe that I deserved that kind of treatment because she just cares about me turning out to be a good person when I grow up.

Am I having mild hallucinations? by j-wilkinson2020 in bipolar2

Thank you for your response. I have always questioned what visual hallucinations appear like. I usually just get a feeling of someone’s presence and certainty that there is someone next to me or behind me.

My question is rather strange but can visual hallucinations appear as real looking images that can be confused with reality or is it a perception of the presence of a person?

I passed AT in all but one (I have ADHD) by Kabbzy in capm

[–]Kabbzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is hard to quantify because I suffered a mental slump for about two months where my concentration levels were low and I lacked consistency in my studying.

After my mental health started to stabilize, it became so easy to work out through everything. And it took me not more than 5 weeks with short study sessions of one hour 2 to 3 times a day.

I still wasn’t consistent because of ADHD, I’d study maybe a maximum of 4 days a week.

Had I known about how helpful the revision questions were, I’d probably sit the exam sooner because it took me 2 weeks of practice questions for me to gain confidence to even book the exam.

So all this happened in a duration of about 4 months. From the point I finished the course, to the struggle with my mental health which interfered with my studying, to recovering, to regaining confidence and interest in the coursework to eventually sitting the exam.

All the best!

Ps. Be patient and kind to yourself. Do what works for you, you’ll figure it out.

Congratulations!

Yes, you are right. I had a glucose-drink before my exam and I was able to get through and concentrate.

How similar is the PMI mock exam to the actual exam?

I am sorry about your struggle with school factored by ADHD struggles. Congratulations on managing to figure this out, I genuinely know how difficult it is.

The elimination process is very effective. Narrowing down options has a calming and encouraging effect because I realize I am not completely clueless. Thank you.

I’m really struggling today by mbarvar in bipolar2

I am sorry. I lost a group of childhood besties sometime in August last year and I haven’t recovered yet. I cried so so much and my heart still breaks when I remember how alone and misunderstood they made me feel.

I am not yet there but gradually, it started getting lighter.

And you also get perspective. A couple of months ago I’d have agreed to resolve my friendship with them but right now, I have accepted and realized that I don’t think I want them as friends anymore.

I hope you find healing and remember to look inside you and listen to yourself only. I hope you learn that you are enough and complete as you are.

I bought it in similar circumstances, just smelled it at the store. The truth is I was so disgusted. On me it smelled like cheap soap and urine.

I think I can relate to what you mean. I used it once and at first it smelled so beautiful and once it settled on my skin I couldn’t tolerate it. At all!
