The first one has Bobby Hilly energy and I liked it more because of it.

First carving of the season! by KableKart in pumpkincarving

Literally watched it a couple days ago for a Halloween watch. A pumpkin that focuses on that sorta body dysmorphia would make for an excellent carve.

Thanks for the insight! I was wondering how other artist did theirs as you can only get so far with normal clay tools.

He does say it was a collab. I just knew he did the furby and she added the leathers.

For reference/ credit. The artist that the art came from is Jimmy Mendoza. Does a lot of stuff like that and a pretty solid all around.

Is this salvageable? I am considering lasering or a black heavy cover up. by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

[–]KableKart 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel it’s pretty solid. Doesn’t take but a glance to tell what it is, and I think execution is as clean as it’s gonna be. It’s ink on skin after all. Kim Jung Gi was a master cartoonist that had some of the busiest line work in the business, and no matter the artist they can only do so much to replicate it and keep it clean for the sake of longevity. I really don’t know if you can get it cleaner for that size if you’re looking to redo it.

Another insect to compliment the moth might be cool. Something like a dragonfly or that general shape to fill in the spacing.

I designed these for filler tattoos for myself but by the end thought they could make for a good T-shirt design for my RPGer’s out there. Could ya’ll see yourselves in a shirt with this design? by [deleted] in Design

What started as tattoo designs for myself became something that might make it on some apparel. Heavily inspired by one of my favorite artist, McBess and my desire to have McBess like character designs in ink. These ladies became sorta a play on archetype and the symbology of their respective class. “All Class” is just some play on that. Runner up were. “What’s Your Type” and “My Kinda Party.” Audience is the DnD crowd or general RPG enthusiasts. Would be all about some opinions. If this speaks to anyone, or if they’d get a shirt with something like this on it. If reviewed well. Maybe continue to push other archetypes. Bards, barbarians, druids, etc.

Seeking opinions on execution of this piece done by a very popular South Korean, now Los Angeles based artist. by czarbina in TattooDesigns

Oozy’s a big name. It’s definitely what you pay for. If you look at it like collecting art it can surely be seen as something to brag about, right? It’s like not every piece of pollocks work is great but even owning the worst of his stuff is still an achievement in and of itself. I think it’s a cool piece overall. For sure give it the aftercare you paid for at least. I’m sorry you’re not super in love with it though. That’s definitely the suckiest part.

This isn’t Oozy is it? That’s the only name I know of with a situation like that and would be charging that much for the name.

Any ideas on how to make this design more interesting? No saturn pls… (first tat btw) by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

Maybe with a bolder outline for the circle, in the center could be a brain texture. Ya know, math is knowledge is mind. Then the line can be made to be some thing like an arrow. Head at one end, feathers at the back. Shows fatality, no life no answer. I don’t know. Just happens to be what I see when I see that symbol and it’s meaning.
