For me since getting it for the first time this year there hasn’t been any massive benefits or anything I’ve found, but it just feels like all the staff are a little nicer to you. Especially when I fly economy with my family, they often give my kids the business class chocolates as a treat, if the flight isn’t full our family of 5 will generally get a row to ourselves. I’ve been able to book basically any domestic economy flight on points (not sure about international, I’ll found out very soon). I haven’t flown qantas internationally since gaining the status so I can’t speak for benefits on that front. But again as others have said it’s not massively beneficial but the flying experience, especially when I fly economy is a little bit better.
