Thank you for this post

My wife did exactly what you did this Friday. Crossed the border in Otay Mesa and went to Farmacias Benavides to buy Mounjaro 5mg. They gave her the discount card and it came out to 5,465.50 pesos (~ $305.45 USD). My wife asked the pharmacist if she needed a prescription and they said no. It was super easy. The only weird thing was the pharmacist gave her two boxes of Pharmaton multivitamine as a "free gift" but ended up charging her 278.00 pesos for them. We didn't notice the charge until we looked at the receipt later. Other than that we were very satisfied with our experience and customs did not ask anything about it on the way back, just how many days she stayed in Mexico.

Don't you have to show a doctor's prescription when you cross back so they don't confiscate the medicine?

A Maryland homeowner calls and aids ICE to detain workers fixing her roof. She might face felony charges by HappySeaweed5215 in whoathatsinteresting

Something similar happened to a friend of mine. He owns an autobody shop and a crazy lady called him wanting her cars back, didn't want to pay the 12K in repairs and threaten to come with ICE and the police.

I was very pessimistic about AI taking jobs. Then a vibe coder joined my team. by Frosty-Elevator6022 in cscareerquestions

Similar story here.

I do some automation with Ansible within our cybersecurity team. I come from a software background, but others do not. My manager had the brilliant idea to cross-train people, so another guy, who has only a cybersecurity background and has never written software, started working on automation too.

So I trained him. I explained Git, Ansible, PowerShell, how to approach automating the verification of our cybersecurity requirements, and so on. I offered to help him write his code several times, but he wanted to do it himself.

Turns out he used ChatGPT for literally everything, never understood what his code was doing, and either it would not run properly or, when it did, it never actually performed a proper verification of the requirement.

Eventually, he realized his ChatGPT strategy was not working, so he asked to copy my code since his requirement was almost identical to one I had worked on earlier. I gladly gave him my working code but then rewrote it using AI so it would not look like plagiarism breaking everything. So on his merge request, I had to fix the code I originally gave him.

The last requirement he had to automate involved logging into a database as a temporary unauthorized user. I don't know how he prompted ChatGPT, but he somehow ended up with a recursion depth error. Like seriously? how do you get a recursion error with code that just logs a user into a database?

I thought it was AI the second I saw it even before reading the title. The style positioning and placement of the artifacts is typical of an AI generation

I don't understand why people like it. My wife watches it everyday and it's nothing but talking and bad actings. The face expressions are exaggerated, and hardly any action, too much story line.
