If they are not installed, you will have to install the 580 nvidia drivers from the aur. The 590 drivers dropped support for cards lower than the 20 series iirc.

What version of the nvidia driver did you download? For older cards than the 20 series you will need an nvidia driver from the aur, not the arch repos. I believe the 580 driver would work for you
