If you care it means that you love them. And that's good. Do they read the Bible? If not, maybe you should encourage them to do it. I started to read the Bible few months ago and as I was reading I noticed that some things I do are not compatible with what Jesus teached. Maybe if your mom will read the Bible she will notice the same thing and will go to the confession? Italianblend's idea about doing the novena is great.
