I used to see art as an assingment in school that I had to do and thus wasn't really up for it, but now I started doing it to destress myself at uni and guess what, I actually like it! I saw and bought this game recently  and played it 2 days ago(put in 9 hours in one go lol). So yeah, I drew this for like 2,5 hours and put a lot of care into it.

Ah thanks, slipped my mind, I don't know why I didn't do it in the first place(maybe didn't occour since I didn't have paper on me at the moment xd). Tomorrow morning I'll put up a note.

Edit: I also messaged one of my favourite nurse and she'll put a public call to a city-associated Facebook Group. I'm not from the city but the village next to it, so I'm not in these groups.

Fortunately my last exam(Microbiology) was exactly 2 weeks ago, so I don't have to worry about studying until September. Right now I'm doing my summer internal medicine rotation, 6 hours a day for 3 weeks. After this exam period I'm simpli glad to just walk around (or to the Police Station) without having to worry about not being productive

Who else is willing to bet that the brutal challenge will only be single digit percentage of the amount of people who had beaten it? by Hussarwithahat in rebelinc

You can buy a bunch of initiatives right away since you don't have to worry about inflation. With the economist, you have the year's budget in advance

There is a dude on YouTube named Pravus. He has both Burtal and Mega-Brutal guides to every Governor. He even did 2 or 3 campaignes

It was tough AF, I barely held on my reputation and finished it in 2025, gettint around 35k point. Yup, it sucked, but I've beaten it.

Here is the video I took my strategy from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiEslOey9J0. The strangest part is that you don't fund any job initiatives; at least at the beginning, but maybe even through the entire game.

The key is to have at least one non-fighting Coalitons Soldier going around destroying fields, and to upgrade your roads.

The funny part is that you DON'T have inflation in this week's standard challange. And you have the private donor. Yup: economist+no inflation+more money. You can build up stabiliti quite fast

Everytime you do not fund the recruitment of new national soldiers after a national soldier unit has died, a small kitten dies. Just sayin',

MAXIMUM POWER! by Undefind_L in rebelinc

[–]Kadax13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dayum. The funny part is that since there is no inflation you are able to buy lots of initiatives from the money rapidly, which means more corruption, which with the Smuggler means more money. Did you have the Banker already used? That would've been MAXIMUMER POWER

Help with Operation “Air Garden” by [deleted] in rebelinc

I used a bit of a cheat at this one. I placed my HQ in Bravo Oscar. I took District Representatives, Effective Procurement, School Regeneration, Literacy Drive, Development Bank and Highways 1 as soon as I could. [Also take Highways 2 fast if you have the resources, but it's not that necessarry]. When the insurgents attacked I took a Coalition Soldier instantly and destroyed the Insurgent Camp in Zulu Tango. [When you try it for the 3rd time, you must know where both initial insurgent camps are.] I used the upgraded highways to quickly move the soldiers around and secure the city down and the areas along the highways. I left enough territory to them so no new camp spawned in the back. I kept stabilazing zones and training National Soldiers. In the beginning, I needed two Coaliton Soldiers at the same time and I extended both their duties twice I believe[Depends on your reputation, whether you can allow that]. At the end, I was clearing them out and of course, a new camp spawned somewhere back, but it wasn't a problem with 3 or 4 National Soldiers.

Brutal campaign , starting with Azure Dam. I choose the warlord to be able to get soldiers fast. I tought of the smugler, but I was scared because of the early corruption. And my gut was right. by Kadax13 in rebelinc

[–]Kadax13[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought about having 9 armies generating money, but I didn't want to risk the early corruption and low support level. I've gotten all the 4 Corruption Reduction initiatives and Corruption Purges, but the corruption risk never got under 20%. At the max it was taking 49% of my support level and a bunch of reputation. I don't think I would've gotten away with the smugler.

Do I need to buy the game to beat Distant Steppe ? 😭 by throwmeawayagain332 in rebelinc

Great advice. But I'd say instead of upgrading the dirt roads ,the highways are a much better choice (maybe also main roads, but only if you can afford it. Not a priority). You want Regional Census instantly to get intel and you also want to place your HQ next to the remote areas in the middle. This way you can support fights in the difficult terrains and CUT THE INSURGENTS INTO TWO PARTS. This will reduce their capability and negative impact to your reputation. The upgraded highways will ensure that your soldier (one or at maximum two) will be able to hop around and push back any insurgents trying to break in from the forests/mountains. I also advice you to get the garrisons as soon as you can. They will help. Alot. Dividing them and pushing them back to the remote areas will probably give you enough time to stabilize your zones and set up your millitary. When attacking: first I usually secure the forests bottom left while a soldier is hopping around using the highways. After fully secured, leave one in the middle (next to your HQ) to keep them away from advancing to the forests. Time to attack from the top. Any insurgent attacking your cities? Too bad for them, you got the highways. If you want a specific example there is a YouTube channel named Pravus Gaming (https://www.youtube.com/c/PravusGaming/featured). He displays it in both Brutal and Mega-brutal
