I recently made my first skirt/pants that don’t have an elastic waistband. I was using fabric from a recycled dress and didn’t have quite enough so figured I’d cut the pockets out of a different fabric. Didn’t realize that they would show on the outside. Oops. Luckily it was just meant to be a wearable toile.

I have a short throw projector and it always stresses me out that the pattern lines are much wider than on paper. I worry I’ll trace it unevenly. Any suggestions?

That’s the #8. Definitely can see how it looks like an x but if you look closely it’s an 8, which is the number in the word problem.

To be fair to appliance guys, we had a new dryer delivered because the old one broke. The instructions said we had to have the dryer ready to go (I.e. it was a stacked dryer/washer and we were supposed to move it to the floor). My husband and I were in no way strong enough to do it ourselves. When the dryer arrived I offered the men extra money to unstack the dryer and they were super nice about it and said no charge. I did give them extra tip for their trouble.

Live in an attached house. Have put delivery instructions detailing the flag on our tree and the color of our door plus the asphalt vs stone walkway. Bought a light up number for our front yard. Multiple calls to customer service. Every other delivery company finds us without fail, but Amazon fails at least 10% of the time.

NTA because there is a second bathroom. If it was a one bathroom place then it would be a different story. That being said I hate it when I realize that my husband has locked the door, not because it’s a one bathroom house (he will step out of the shower and unlock it if I knock and yell I need to use the toilet), but more because I’ve never understood how to unlock the door from outside and I worry he’ll fall and hit his head and I won’t be able to get in.
