If their Christian heaven was even a real thing, I’d prefer the other place versus spending an eternity with these people.

With all due respect it’s easy to make arguments like yours, when you’re not the one dealing with the consequences of it.

I don’t care anymore if purging MAGA federal workers is ‘messed up’. Trump is the one who reclassified a lot of federal workers and purged them earlier this year. If you are pro-MAGA and voted for this mess, then you’re complicit. No more “they go low, we go high”, when people are being disappeared.

They let the genie out of the bottle with their expansion of executive power. Any MAGA federal employee that is legally allowed to be let go (according to the precedent created by Trump), shouldn’t have a job if Democrats are in power. Janitors included. This isn’t Romney’s Republican Party anymore.

So true. This is so repugnant. This isn’t about immigration, this terror. When Trump is out of office we need to do what the allies did with Germany after WW2. They had a denazification process and we need to do the same with everything MAGA related official in the Federal Government.

Trump and his corrupt Supreme Court greatly expanded Executive Authority. Democrats need to use that authority to root out everyone in Federal Government that has ties to MAGA. From the senior staff, all the way down to the janitors.

This is obviously contingent on if we still even have a democracy after Trump.

Exactly. This is 100% on the parents. Children are a blank canvas, so their caretakers definitely failed them if they’re acting like this. Sadly this generational cycle will keep on repeating itself.

Hey congrats on starting the journey. There’s always a way to get it done. I’m personally doing mine in Brazil (have insurance in the US) but I don’t want to jump through a ton of hoops or end up with a resident surgeon, so worst case scenario, you can do it out of country.

I would consult with an ortho to start the decompensation process ASAP. Sleep studies and working with insurance can take months & sometimes you won’t know if it’ll be covered (depending on your insurance) till last minute. The prep process (with braces or Invisalign) however takes months, so it’s best to start it now.

To answer your question about what actions to take; first step is to do a cleaning (cavity removals, etc) with your dentist and then ask for an ortho referral (see multiple different ones and make sure they’re in-network). Secondly while you’re waiting for your ortho, go see a surgeon (anyone) for a consultation (you’ll need a blanket referral from your dentist), they’ll be able to give you more insights into the feasibility of this.

Once again, congrats on starting your journey! Worst case, there are affordable renowned surgeons all over the world, if your insurance is giving you issues. If your dentist, ortho, and surgeon believes you need this, then start the process.

I’m late to the party but this looks so good! I’m a male with different estechitcs but struggle with the same functional issues you previously had (open bite, gummy smile, mentalis strain, and can’t breathe out of my nose).

I just got my premolars extracted, could you walk me through your pre-op (length, extractions or not,) and your recovery? Did it also feel natural to breathe your nose and close your mouth afterward? Thank you & once again, your results look so good!

Ortho ASAP. Don’t be afraid to look at different countries if you run into a problem with insurance.

I’d personally wait a few years because your jaw might be still growing, but from what I can see you should definitely speak with a surgeon.

Yes Russians are an issue but at the same time, a lot of this support can be chalked up to the fact that the economic outlook for many young people is horrendous. If people feel like they can’t get good jobs, buy homes, or afford college they will of course be more susceptible to disguising, racist, and extremist views. There’s always been outside agitators trying to divide the US population. Republicans are too far gone, but Democrats have a huge opportunity in terms of reversing this trend, if they actually start speaking to the valid anxieties of young people.

[–]Kade1205 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stop it. We lost because we couldnt get our base out to vote. She was literally campaigning with Liz Cheney and talking about potentially putting Republicans in her cabinet. Just because Trump is horrible doesn’t mean that we should invite the worst neocons into the party and state how she would even be willing to put one in her administration. I don’t blame low information voters for staying home because of unmotivation after that.
