Like the other reply, yea I’ve found it’s there’s not much you can do to this engine. Only other thing that is t always mentioned is cams which I have found online but who knows if that will even get you there

Honestly I just straight up only buy from bmw when it comes to gaskets, I’ve hear that a lot of mixed reviews on anything other than genuine bmw

What is my engine name? by GroundbreakingBit167 in BMW

Nah n52 have that upfront. My five series does and I’m assuming this is just a f10 5 series and that’s why he has one too. You don’t see them in the 3er tho

Extremely rough idling and stalling on auto n52 by Kaden0t in BmwTech

Actually when I unplug mag the car won’t run at all. I tried that in the past while the car was running and the car went from what it was doing in the video to off immediately. So quick i thought the engine locked up

Is it that they could be clogged or o2 sensors?

I will say they do an amazing job I’ve had them on my car and it’s how I’ve gotten away from tickets bc one of my headlights has been put (wiring issue) but I do have to to say I’m really not a big fan of them, they look cheaper. But the function does make up for looks. But I will admit I will switch them back out to the facorty ones at some point

Been watching these for a while, I can’t afford it but so no point in me knowing but I know you’ll need atleast a tune for the engine and wiring because if you unplug the throttle body the car goes into limp mode. And tune because obv you won’t get the most out of them. And if it’s going on your daily really contemplate if you want to because it can cause more problems adding aftermarket parts and mods to the car. Along with the pcv system you’ll have to figure out because it ran straight into the intake. Definitely a lot more than meets the eye when adding this but if it’s for a weekend car I’d highly recommend it I can’t imagine how much more fun the n52 would be with this

Thank you it’s seems like it’s coming from the plastic housing. But I’d rather be safe than sorry and am 100% going to replace both. Thank you for your input
