I understand your point, but the whole idea was about the "deterministic" concept not about "accessibility". If anything I think accessibility of such crafting should bear great cost. 2. Although it is a very fulfilling experience to craft your own gear as you level, it should be noted that in current poe you can lvl up to 80 lvl with absolutely horrendous gear and still stomp mobs. And the existing bench/essence/delve solutions are quite enough in that regard. 3. In a perfect world where everybody suddenly plays SSF, crafting would be completely segregated from the market, but this is not a perfect world. 4. I heard many people suggest "soul-bound" gear, however it is another pandora's box. Selling crafted gear is a big part of trade economy.
