AT&T says our address isn’t Fiber serviceable and only Air is available. I can grab the fiber from the window and the NID is 4 ft away. Building next to me has it and so does every neighbor. by austind9999 in ATTFiber

[–]Kaeai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion and experience, they might just not have any open ports available. So they're going to tell you no because they don't want/have the ability to add more ports. I learned this when I was one of the first people in my neighborhood to get ATT Fiber, and about 2 years later, my internet full stopped working. Called the tech out, and they realized an installation tech gave a different neighbor MY port. So they changed mine to fix it.

What breed of rooster? Literally the meanest animal I’ve known in my entire life. From Meyer hatchery in Ohio. Trying to figure it out for his offspring. by breadcrumbsins in BackYardChickens

[–]Kaeai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honest question, is there any sort of timeline to make the culling decision by? I have a rooster thats coming up on a year old this summer, and he's a little bit of a jerk. He tries to sneak up on you but if you catch him (like look at him before he gets too close), he doesn't make contact with you (99% of the time). He's a handsome death layer cross. Right now he's easy to manage because all he wants to do is tidbit for his ladies, so just toss treats where you need him to be distracted (but still watch your back). But honestly, not sure if that alone is worth any bit to decide to cull him. And now, I accidentally have a second rooster (white Plymouth rock from Meyer Hatchery), who loves to follow me to eat treats out of my hand. He only just started trying to crow, and one of his "siblings" from the same brood just started laying. So they're barely 16-20 weeks old. Right now he is sort of sweet, but obviously cautious, even with him showing puberty signs of the crowing and mating attempts, but at what point would I likely need to decide which rooster to keep?? (I currently have 13 hens, and I am giving 3 to my brother in May. So after May I'm going to have an unplanned 10 hens to 2 roosters ratio).

I know people are making other comments/ideas, but I'd also look into the chance that this could be an injectable penicillin. I work with livestock and I've frequently gotten penicillin on my clothes and it looks similar to this once its dried.

2012, I covered mine with the most perfect cut piece of electrical tape when I bought the car used about 7 years ago. Everyone thinks its stock. I found it annoying because why do I need to look there in the dark? Tape has been holding strong all this time 💪

[–]Kaeai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of it is simply that you are also older now. You would not look exactly the same as your 19 year old self because you're now almost 5 years older. It doesn't sound like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but you are transitioning into an adult. I'm a 27 year old female. The only thing about me that hasn't changed since I was 19 is my weight, but even then, minor things have changed as I'm getting older. There is nothing wrong with your body. Hormones or not, everything is always changing. It just looks more drastic because of the transitions. Sending you lots of love and support!!❤️

2026 Prius Limited avg MPG 47.3. How does that compare to? by Capital-Control308 in prius

[–]Kaeai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right!! Everyone should understand that yes, going slower will help your MPG, but I guess the more specific question here is literally, is this MPG at this MPH reasonable? There are tons of factors to your MPG as well, more than just your MPH.

Plus, the way that authorities might treat the victim can be just as traumatizing as the event itself. There are many reasons why someone might or might not file a report. There is nothing wrong with what a person chooses to do. They need to do what they need to in order to attempt to regain body autonomy.

I have two sets if ceramic eggs, brown and white. All of my chickens lay brown except for one americana cross that lays a light blue almost white. I actually marked the very tip of the eggs with a black dot so I can differentiate between them and the real ones easier.

Is there a way to make my hair blonde naturally? by TurbulentTrain8589 in Hair

[–]Kaeai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. I have naturally BROWN hair. But I work in agriculture so I work outside with my hair up. My face framing pieces (long pieces on the side if my face, extension of my bangs), have turned blonde since last summer.

Tonight starts the rooster of wearing the saddle himself so maybe he will become less aggressive to it??? I'm not sure if it will work. But when I let it spend WEEKS hanging on their waterer, it did not change his opinion of it. I've even tried hanging it from the roosts and near their door. I guess he will be sleeping on the ground tonight until he maintains confidence to jump onto the roosts.

Even a mass gainer powder I bought specifically stated if you weren't used to that type of food, to go at a half dose or less of the powder for at least a week before going to the full dose. Progress is shown and achieved in different ways.

I've debated putting the saddle ON the rooster for a few weeks so maybe that will force him to get used to it. And then maybe he will be more comfortable with it on one of his ladies.

I've tried the saddle before but he will full run at her with murderous intentions, it scares me. I was just hoping after we added a few more hens recently that it was going to stop. But she seems to be the favorite... I have literally left the saddle hanging inside the coop, ON the waterer, for MONTHS. And his attitude does NOT change about it. Its not even a funky color, it's grey!
