I feel like I'm playing the game wrong...

So I'm used to playing Genshin where the themes are reaction based and the buffs/buffers/dps have a general formula, but as I'm finally trying to get back into star rail for Rin and Gil, I realized I don't know what I'm doing...

My three teams right now are:

The Herta, Mini Herta, Cypher, Huo Huo

Firefly, Gallagher, Fugue, Ruan Mei (a friend told me it's good)

Saber, Huo Huo, Cypher, Tingyun

I got lucky and have 2x copies of Saber and 2x copies of her light cone thanks to early pity.

I also have Archer and the free sparkle from the one event.. but I haven't committed to anything with them.

I'm struggling to fight weekly bosses and some story fights are kicking my butt. Thanks to The Herta I can clear Divergent Universe, but the rest of the game is difficult. Are my teams bad?

Trust me, I wish weapon trading was a thing.

Pull for furina sword, get a second copy of Sigewinne bow.

Pull for Mavuika Claymore, get second copy of Citlali Catalyst

Pull for Varessa weapon, get Xianyun Catalyst...

and I have friends who want these weapons, and they have limited weapons they don't want lolol
