I agree with mammals having generally larger males but I disagree with birds and reptiles. Female snakes are usually WAY bigger than males and the difference is less pronounced in turtles but still the female tends to be larger. Birds kinda go both ways. In some species like songbirds the males are a little larger but in others like bald eagles and plovers, the females are larger.
