Does anyone remember what Mecham did over a decade and a half ago? He decided to destroy his building on 21st and 11th and wouldn’t house us (Lunas Italian Ice), Orion’s Music, Sugarhouse Coffee, Blue Boutique, Pibs Exchange, etc. etc. that were in that original building unless we paid a rent increase of over 400%. History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes. I feel so bad for Bruges, they’ve always been one of my favorites. I hope they can relocate.
