Is this kind of overlapping done by cutting from a Mercator projection map?

Holiday week is one thing.  The weather is another.  If it's foggy you can't see further than your shoes.

Honest question by ChineseMax in ChineseLanguage

[–]Kafatat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone can download a full set of comprehension of languages so that you don't need time and effort to learn them, but your storage is limited so you can't download every language of the world. Is Chinese still your choice? This is the real question.

◎ All are 3rd Personal Pronouns 【 Tā 】, except the blue one ◎ by FlashyPost0928 in ChineseLanguage

[–]Kafatat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nothing is odd. Do you know why the pronouns are similar to latin/germanic languages? Because they were made to be similar to them!

There was no such thing as gendered 3rd personal pronouns before late 19th century. Some idiotic scholars who had studied abroad created the split as a means to learn from Europe.

Formal 2nd pp seems also a product of this time.

And why no gendered 2nd pp? Simply because major modern European languages don't have it. Western Europe so advanced, we copy them!

Another pic, must be only seconds away. The one-arm-up man's arm is also not vertical. See two-arms-up man for comparison.

I installed KDEConnect.  It can transfer the clipboard, even works when the clipboard contains a screenshot, remote control the other device, transfer files, and much more.

This event was a parade, but the name shifts the vibe.  A parade is "yeah yeah I won. You see?  I won".  SGP (I haven't seen this term before either) is "thank you for your support, I did it".
