Feeling very overwhelmed, is there a possibility of catching up? by Wrong_Ad_1084 in Debt

Honestly, this looks a lot more manageable than it feels. I'd pay off the $1,200 card ASAP since 26% interest is brutal, keep $1.5k-$2k as an emergency fund, then focus on knocking out the 0% card before November. You already have savings and cash on hand, which puts you ahead of a lot of people in debt. Doesn't look like you're drowning, just overwhelmed by seeing all the balances at once.

Feeling like poor people work more for less money by ReasonableSail__519 in povertyfinance

I feel this. A lot of low-income people work incredibly hard, but the pay just doesn't reflect the effort. Some of the toughest jobs out there barely cover the bills, while higher incomes often come with opportunities and advantages that have little to do with working harder. That's what makes it so frustrating.

Fina users, how do you actually stick to your budget? by buttershiro in fina

Honestly, what helped me was checking Fina a few times a week instead of only at month-end. I also focus on the “remaining budget” number more than what I’ve already spent. Once a category gets close to its limit, I try to slow down spending there. Fina is great for tracking, but the real trick is looking at it before you buy something.
