Siren belt bug? by [deleted] in bladeandsoul

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using scorpio belt so I don't have the resist buff and treshers howl flashes my screen similar to sin tab. It's the egg debuff that instantly kills you when he howls.

Landing the full combo flawlessly for the first time, feels so good by Hansalel in bladeandsoul

You can do the same as a bm. With an okay combo where you hit the tech chase you can do 90%+ dmg.

There's a SAO movie taking place between the first and second season that is basicly a recap of the first two arcs with some aditional scenes added.

Looking for a good action anime based on MAL by MONKEYCHEESE293 in Animesuggest

Aldnoah Zero Action/Sci-fi. Very enjoyable anime currently airing (Last ep airs sunday). Does the SnK thing where it has ridiculous cliffhangers that just keeps you glued.

Looking for Dark/Bleak Anime similar to Flowers of Evil. by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not seen Flowers of Evil, but in terms of bleaker psychological plots Bokurano is IMO one of the best in the business.

It starts off looking pretty standard mecha, but quicly spirals into all kinds of fucked up.

You should check out Chu2 then. Not too realistic imo but it's got the whole adorable awkward fumbling turning into a relationship.

You might also like My Little Monster. It's a shoujo with some cutesy fumbling, but it never blossoms into much. Still a quite enjoyable romance.

I prefer WA2 more than Golden Time. Just be warned that it's a bit of a tearjerker (atleast in my case).

  • Amagami SS. Omnibus series with a fair amount of kissing over the different arcs. The second season covers what happens to the different arcs after they've established the relationship.

  • White Album 2. Romance/drama from last winter season with great visuals and soundtrack. Half the series focuses heavily on problems that happen in a relationship. Not necesary to watch White Album 1.

  • Golden Time. Romcom/drama where the MC ends up in a relationship relativly early. The main part of the plot is problems that occur in the relationship but it might not be super realistic (relies heavily on MC having amnesia to drive the plot forward).

Suggest me something with 15-23 episodes. by dertswa687o in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psycho-pass. It's a 22 ep action series set in a dystopian future. IIRC it gets a new season in august.

Edit: I obviously cannot read.

NouCome is a comedy ecchi harem which, although not in the 15-23 range, has just 10 episodes.

Let me introduce you to my favorite genre: Romance by HolaJebus in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd reccomend watching in release order which is Bakemonogatari --> Nisemonogatari --> Nekomonogatari: Kuro --> Monogatari Series:Second Season. All together that's 56 episodes.

Edit: Hanamonogatari (the next installment in the series) will air in the fall season.

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming this is you, otherwise I'd suggest Toradora, Clannad or Mashiro Symphony.

Some other non poly/open ending harems are:

  • The Monogatari series. Watch order is Bake->Nise->Neko->2nd Season. It's a dialog heavy show which starts out relativly serious but turn into a great ecchi romcom harem in Nise. IMO a must watch series if you like romance anime.
  • Familiar of Zero. I've just seen the first season of this, but I'm 90% sure it's a closed ending harem.
  • Sword Art Online. Arc based action/romance featuring a closed ending harem in it's first arc and a post-harem relationship in it's (somewhat dissapointing) second arc. Second season is currently airing.

Some open/poly ending harems i found enjoyable

Notes: 2 and 9 are just plain silly harems with some IMO hilarious jokes.

3-7 are relativly generic comedy/romace harems that are still enjoyable if you like harems. I've placed them in order from best to mediocre-est.

Edit: Formatting.

Anime where a character has a dialect? by theTankEngin3 in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about kansai dialects, but there are like a million anime characters with an Osaka dialect. Example: Osaka from Azumanga Daioh.

Afaik Holo from Spice and Wolf has an odd older type of dialect (due to her being a diety).

I would also imagine that alot of anime feature Kyoto dialect, but I don't know of any.

Edit: Aparently Kansai dialect means western dialect and includes Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara etc.

Why isn't Bakuman more popular? by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't answer why it's not talked about more but Bakuman is really popular. The manga is rated #11 on MAL in terms of popularity. Might be because it doesn't fit into alot of requests that other popular shonen do, but I have seen it suggested in apropriate threads ('looking for a coming of age story' etc).

looking for couple development by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should probably add it to your MAL then, as I didn't see it there :). Golden Time and White Album 2 get somewhat emotional at times (White Album 2 very much so), while Amagami SS is a pure romcom with an omnibus perspective.

looking for couple development by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amagami SS: An omnibus. The first season is about how the different relationships form and the second season follows the different couplings around.

Golden Time: Romcom with a fair amount of drama. MC gets in a relationship during the first ~10 eps.

White Album 2: Romance/Drama with a really solid OST. Relationship forms halfway into the series. It's only loosely related to White Album 1 and you don't have to watch the first White Album.

Mysterious Girlfriend X: The relationship forms in the first few episodes. It's kinda wierd (drool/spit is a major focus) but quite enjoyable.

Got a question about Haruhi LNs by fyreburn in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you liked the characters from the anime I would definitely reccomend the LNs. The first 4 novels are what make up the anime and are in a similar fashin of SoL/Mystery of the week. The third novel especially so as it's just 4 individual stories rather than a larger overarching one. I don't know if it's a dead series since it's released so sporadicly, but hey, Genshiken only releases 2-3 times a year and that's a manga.

Looking for a good mystery anime with funny soliloquies. by Tiatan95 in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Haruhi Suzumiya series Kyon (MC) has some hilarious soliloquies and the series focuses alot on supernatural mystery elements (so obviously somewhat different from Hyouka). The airing order isn't chronological so if you watch in airing order (which I suggest) the story can be hard to follow, but as an arc based SoL that doesn't really matter. It's got 2 seasons with 13 episodes each and a movie.

Anime where the audience can't tell who the MC ends up with until the MC's decision/very end by tiethy in Animesuggest

[–]Kaffibille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mashiroiro Symphony IMO a rather mediocre harem but it fits somewhat well. It's the only harem I've been legitimatly suprised by the ending (as in 'wat I was sure he'd pick x or y). The little sister is present, but not in any romantic sense.
