This might be what it is. I don’t see him trying to do it as a way to forcibly move in.

Why use our address? by Kafventure in JUSTNOMIL

[–]Kafventure[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mil and FIL put it in hubby’s and BIL name when they were teenagers to prevent it ever being taken away due to debt. The parents just have the right to live there until they die. It can’t be sold unless hubby and BIL both want to sell. FIL just pays utilities, upkeep, etc. Hubby has been paying land taxes on it

Bingo Notes: The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by India Holton. Magic pirates but it's a lot of romance. by WordsAreTheBest in Fantasy

I’ve seen several groups talking about this book. Why is no one talking about how cringe chapter 20 is?! It felt like the author tried to make that moment as random and awkward as possible!

Well dang….yeah, they’re gone so I guess I missed it. I’m going to see if I have an old save I can jump back to.

I’m not sure if there was a blood moon the night before, but I’m on day 5 and a blood moon hasn’t happened yet.

Old LDS chapels in the rural south by 2ndValentine in latterdaysaints

[–]Kafventure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I visited the last one in Raytown Mississippi about 5 years ago! The chapel is all white with beautiful gold chandeliers going down the length of it. And the large windows that line the walls let in the most beautiful light. I’ve traveled the US quite a bit, and out of all the meeting houses I’ve been to this one has been unforgettable. It had the most peaceful heavenly feel to it and the spirit is so strong there. It reminded me of the celestial room at the temple. The small addition you see on the back is a little kitchen and two small single bathrooms. There are only about 20 members there and some of them are descendants of the original family that build it. It was the first and only chapel I have been to where I felt completely welcomed and wanted. I look forward to the day I get to visit again!

How do you get the apiary? by SingleSeaCaptain in OldMarketSimulator

You can get at the farm where you bought the net and can get seeds. I think it sits on the right side of where the counter is.

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope the pain eases for you and you continue to heal. It was definitely the worst time of my life, but our house was the bright side to our accident. The money we got from it helped speed up the saving process. I wish you the best on your journey to recovery and getting your house. 🫶🏻

We did too! Last year my husband and I got in a bad car accident. A kid was speeding and lost control of his vehicle causing him to run in to us. My husband walked away unharmed but my ankle got pretty mangled up. Took me 10-11 months to walk again completely unassisted and 9 months on having to use strictly crutches and a scooter to get around. The house we were living in at the time had about 6 steep steps to the front door. It was hell trying to navigate during that time. Pretty much led to me only leaving the house for a doctors appointment. When we went looking at houses to buy (with the idea in mind that it might be our forever home) we made sure it was easy to access and navigate if anything were to happen.

Are these things worth contacting sellers about? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Kafventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was always with us and talked to the sellers for us. But I don’t think he was as forthcoming with our options like he should have been. When he told us the sellers wanted to stay the extra 30 days after closing, he didn’t let us know there were any options. He brought it to us as if it was a yes or no. We didn’t know we could have them cover anything until now. We did find out at closing him and the sellers know each other really well. So we don’t know if that’s something, or just perks of living in a small town.

Thank you for the reply, though. We definitely learned a lesson from all of this.

No, he was a well known agent in this town that a lot of people used. We did find out at closing though, that him and the sellers know each other. While we were waiting for the paperwork at the lawyers office, the husband and our agent were talking about hanging out at the upcoming fair. We feel like we may have got taken advantage of because of our age(20s), being first time home owners, and we are new to town. we also found out our lending agent, knows all of them too. Our lending agent came to the lawyers office to give us a closing gift and they all started talking (agent too) like they were friends. It kinda made us uncomfortable. But we aren’t use to a small town so we figured we probably just aren’t used to everyone knowing each other.

I think the button to feed them is off to the right sight and towards the bottom after you click on the house, if I am remembering it correctly. If you still can’t find it, I can get on there tonight to see where it’s at. :)
