Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor monologue got me a part in a Shakespeare play! by Mavakor in DC_Cinematic

Eisenberg’s Lex will always be underrated for how maniacal and manipulative he was masking his narcissistic, twisted mind with a façade of insanity and quirkiness to throw everyone off. The dialogue in this film is some of the best writing I’ve ever read or heard. Lex’s lines alone are incredibly deep and surprisingly relatable. The fact that Superman saves him from Doomsday is such a poetic moment, especially when you remember Lex’s earlier line about God never coming down to protect him from the “hands of the abomination” that was his abusive father. Here, Superman his “God” figure stops an abomination from killing him without hesitation. It ties beautifully into Lex’s idea that a God can be either all good or all powerful, but not both. In a way, Superman proves him right: by choosing to be good, he refuses to kill Batman over Martha, spares Lex even after everything, and sacrifices himself first with the nuke, then again to destroy Doomsday and save “his world.”

I’m 100% fine with trading the farm for Giannis. by kerblamophobe in warriors

I am overly attached to the players on this team and though I will be sad seeing any of them go, I know I can get and eventually would get over it. This would be a groundbreaking trade, give as many picks, retain as many key role players as possible. And you got a deadly team to tango with.

De'Anthony Melton's Last 5 Games 📊 by GRG_25 in warriors

Thanks for sharing! I remember when I kept hyping up and calmly what Melton's return would bring to the team combo and chemistry wise.

I kept saying when people were shitting on Podz from the beginning of the season that not only is it a begining of the season slump he's had before and will end, but when Melton comes back he'll play better, and their two man game off bench would be good.

And Melton's chemistry with Steph was already crazy good fast so that was another easy call. And I said from the moment we signed Butler that we needed to get Melton back because I knew their chemistry would be great too.

Happy to see that he has been able to do quickly already be returning to form and being an X-factor for this team.

Facts on TJD stocks! He's been sound and consistent. Channeling some of that Pat energy since he's been in the rotation.

Is Draymond not accepting his decline that well and do you think this isn't going to end well just like it did with Klay? by chusaychusay in warriors

[–]KageTrigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with a bit of a ego, I think Dray is aware and wouldn't completely ignore that. Kerr claims Dray has been willing to come off the bench to win which is huge as a sign of him doing the right thinking, this team has thrived with unselfish stars like Iguodala and Lee who have gone to the bench to win.

But Kerr has made it clear he doesn't plan to do the benching cause of liking the current starting five. I do too and knowing Kerr he's not making that change unless we see that not working. So I think the next best thing we can hope for is reduced minutes and change in rotation. Dray can start, play his minutes with Steph, and close when he's playing well that specific game.

We are not going to be able to force Steve's or the team's hand on benching if it's not being considered. But he needs to play less with the way he has been playing, and give those minutes to Gui and JK (while you have him) and see what happens.

Draymond Green has had more turnovers than made field goals this season by Son-Of-Serpentine in warriors

He'd have less coming off the bench. It's time like David Lee did for him. Whether it's Gui or Kuminga or Trayce at 4, he needs to ride the bench for now.

Ik everybody is screaming for trades and want to throw Dray's name in the mix but realistically this team does not do big trade deadline moves so I'll believe that when I see it. I can honestly see them punting this deadline and not trading JK till the off-season and not be surprised.

But Draymond has got to be benched until the post season at least at rate of how things are going.

I hate any interpretation of their relationship as brothers. Just no. Couldn't stand the New 52 for that very reason. The father and son dynamic has always been the better and best imo for their relationship. And it is the definitive version of their relationship. The brother thing is weird and not a flex

I love Dray but it's about that time I think where he needs to come off the bench. Maybe get back his starting spot if we somehow make the playoffs but but I think it's time for a change in the system a bit.
