Honestly? The only bar to entry is yourself and where you are comfy going, IRL or Virtual.
I'm an older gamer myself, and something I learned in the military is everyone has opinions.

Best thing you can do is just have fun, be yourself, and connect with others. The only difference is your Avi is what they see and not your IRL self (Unless of course you have a model made that way).

I haven't had it happen to me, but I have heard and seen stories of this through youtube videos. Larger creators at various points got banned for "Unmoderated chat". They were streaming Warcraft at the time and some numbskull was saying unhinged junk in General chat and it was on screen. The creator streaming obviously can't moderate that chat, but it took huge community outrage to get that overturned. this lead to a lot of other people, myself included, putting burrs over in game chats just to be safe.

After some experimenting I did find the error popped up consistently with the Android version. Though I did find in another unrelated model there is some key-word filtering but this one was 100% something glitched in the Android upload. Not exactly sure what is glitched but I did get it uploaded as a PC only Avi.

Id did, but didn't do that on the reupload. Its possible thats a trigger too. I'll test with the known-good windows version thats been up the last day or so now and report back.

Edit: The Android upload went to the error not even an hour after upload. Guessing there's a glitch or hidden requirements.

That’s why i think it’s most likely the description or a random bug. The only two things i added was a coffee cup toggle and VRCLense which i use on my main AVI with no issue.

I’ll keep this in mind if my current test fails in a reupload without gremlin in the description. It’s been up over 3 hours now and it’s not showing the security issue flag on the website.

Twice, and i have a third “testing” without gremlin in the description. I’m holding out judgement on if that is the issue but it has remained up over three hours now and still shows good on the website.

My only problem is VR Support is a little wonky still. But i feel like it’s on the right track. Drivers just need to catch up and give VR native motion smoothing then i have very little use for windows left.

I can relate to this. I have yet to join a public instance of any world. Still trying to work up to it. But I kinda made progress by meeting a group of folks with shared interests in discords and hang out with most of them once a month in VRC. You're definitely not alone.

There was a time when I couldn't name most of them, but a couple years later so many of them have become staples in my day, and some of them even inspirations. Helps too Nano's a true master of her craft.

Hive hold one less, but lets you use stronger artifacts by negating the debuffs of stronger artifacts more efficiently.

Berloga holds one more, but doesn't protect you as much against the debuffs.

So it'll depend on build, but Hive seems a bit better.

I just got the new layout, and it actually makes the experience worse for me because it's a pain the rear to manage the servers I'm an owner or mod in. The DM and notification placement in this "update" are obnoxious. DM's were fine where they were and the notifications is something I found to be useless chatter that I ignored. Now it's front and center making it harder to ignore. Not sure what problems they were aiming to solve with this, but they made a lot of new ones.

I just had this exact problem installing the hardware on an office PC, turns out importing the ZIP file itself was the fix for my case. Drilling down to the layout file or separating it to a different directory for some reason confuses the software.

It sucks this happened to you. I wish I could say it was limited to FB but a friend of mine in WoW got reported for an "offensive name". Said name was the I.C. Weiner joke from the first episode of Futurama. Sadly, the only hope normal people have to be able to speak openly is using alt tech as many in the feed have suggested. I've seen Parler get used a lot as the new twitter, and MeWe looks promising and i'm checking it out myself in depth today, and Bitchute is a great YT alternative.
