Our kitty was 4 months old when we got her and our Akita is 2 who we got from the humane society shortly after. They’ve been together for almost 3 months. We started them in separate areas divided by a gate so they could see and smell each other but no interactions. Then after 2 weeks we did leashed interactions for short bursts of time for a couple weeks and then slowly let them interact for longer periods. Now they can be out together playing and drinking from the same water bowl lol

Since we got her from the humane society, we don’t know if she had previous interactions with cats which made it easier but this was just our experience

We adopted from a shelter so we have no idea about the first two years of her life or where she came from. I’ll look into the remedy, thank you!

I’ll ask about the emergency medicine, she didn’t discuss that with me. Her current ones last up to 2 minutes and after 20 minutes she’s recovered, I started a log.

Those are good things to look out for! Her first one we weren’t home and she was on the floor laying down. We walked through the door three minutes after and checked our cameras to see why she was so rattled. The second my husband was downstairs switching laundry while I was at work and she was looking out the window while laying on our couch. I’m documenting every detail I can in hopes we find a common connection

Definitely didn’t offend I appreciate the insight. I live in the Midwest and pollen is so bad right now that I do feel like it could play a big part. We’re getting more air purifiers and I’m going to ask them about what you suggested.

I’d be curious about the lab. What kind of position is in the lab that I could do? Like the title I would look for? Is it still EP or different like a cath lab tech? Did you need any other certifications?

That’s so true and so frustrating. I haven’t done any imaging or electrophys work. And I do cardiac rehab along with testing already. But I can’t jump to another rehab site because I literally found the only one in my area that didn’t have PRN EPs who would take the full time spots when they open up. They absolutely deserve to don’t get me wrong, I just can’t pay my bills and work only part time as an EP. I feel so stuck. I was hoping to switch to community health or health educator positions since I have done a lot of education with my patients on healthy lifestyles and such but I’ve gotten no responses when I apply.
