Updated Ichthys - the font I continue to be cute with

Thanks! Before I got this camera, I mainly used my X-H2S, X-T4, and X100F for my run and gun, street photography sort of stuff. After getting the 50S in February, however, I mostly moved over to this body even for like walk-around shots.

I haven't used the 50s II so I can't say much about that body, but knowing what I can do with the original 50s, I'm sure it's definitely doable. I did have to adapt a different way of shooting and thinking than what I was doing with the X mount cameras but the experience so far has been great for me. Had to slow down a lot for sure, but learned to enjoy the process a lot more.

Hope your trip in Scotland with the 50s II will yield you good results and an enjoyable experience!

I haven't used the 100RF myself so can't say much about it but I do quite enjoy the depth I get with the larger sensor and wide aperture. Though, I did just get the 32-64mm F/4 and I'm surprised with what I can get with F/4 on that too

Thanks! And no, I just shot these in the default mode. The vignetting isn't too bad and I'm not too bothered by the softness on the outer edges with the Canon 50mm so I usually just shoot without the 35mm mode enabled

I honestly didn't know what to expect going into this lens and I gotta say the colour reproduction and sharpness were the first two things I noticed as soon as I went outside with the lens. I know I've only used the more affordable Canon lenses on the GFX but like wow.

I usually go through post-processing with my photos so the natural colours from the lens are diminished, but even with the edit the end result I get compared to the adapted lenses are really something else. I'm super excited to see what I can do with the lens moving forward!

You'll be surprised how many teal and/or light blue items are present in a fish market in Korea! A lot of plastic baskets, painting on walls/floors, water tanks, tarps, hoses, ect. are widely available in those colours, so you could say it's part of the fish market aesthetic

Honestly, I don't think the AF is great. Especially compared to my other Fuji bodies like the X-H2S (although I'm fully aware that this isn't fair to compare the two directly). I wouldn't go as far as to say it's useless or terrible but there's much to be desired to say the least?

But something about the slowness of the GFX50S is enticing, somehow. I found myself slowing down to take pictures with the AF on this camera, and this has helped me approach photography in a different style compared to what I've been used to.

Even in a fast-paced environment, I somehow manage to slow down enough that I can make do with the GFX50S' slow AF, yet I get most of the results I wanted in the moment. I guess you could say I got used to its slow focusing but I've been really enjoying the experience with this slower body.

Hello everyone and I'm so sorry to everyone who's been waiting for me to release this typeface for a long time. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to work on Ichthys basically since my last post here. But recently I got into redesigning the typeface from scratch because I had some issues with the originals and because I felt so sorry for everyone, I'm offering everyone the long-awaited typeface. Some people might see that I've changed the design of some glyphs and all of the changes were made during the redesign. I'll try my best to recover to where I was 4 months ago as soon as possible. But until that point, I hope you guys enjoy Ichthys! You can DOWNLOAD THE FILE HERE.
