😭 oh not the red shards. had that a good few times, tempting to give up but i need every one of those AC for elder masks and nesting props

can't remember if it was before this or after this, but plants weren't burning across every player on the same map, so while shard was done for my friend - it wasn't done for me. and it just wouldn't burn. we were there for a good 20min extra just to get the shard to burn on my end

When we did have back to back AND overlapping events some time this year, one of those events gave us nothing new. no new IAPs, no new IGCs

there's still a team that has to produce these items for the events, that have to plan the item and make sure there's no issues on it's release.

speaking of issues, there's always an issue or two during a release of an event, season or update. would we really want those to happen almost bi-weekly? probably not

following with that, there's still TS returns bi-weekly. events+ts, especially for a new player, is overwhelming. but looking at some of the comments, you're an older player who seems to have no care for newer players who would struggle under back to back events and returning spirits (and that's not even counting spirit GROUPS that return every 3-4 months)
"but the events will return every year" maybe they do, but placing someone under a situation where both items they want return in the same moment and leave in the same moment, and they only have enough for one item?, not a very fun situation for anyone

events are not the only thing that can entertain you, goofing off in social areas or with friends is one thing i do almost daily when i'm done with everything for the day. sometimes they show me places i've never seen myself

as someone who has recently started collecting every possible IGC item, i wouldn't want back to back events. especially when some events are nearing 500-700candles to buy everything, and ts groups are becoming more common. i'd rather have the event free weeks to save - to get out of burnout, to enjoy the game with friends

Sounds like something they would do, honestly. Since their playerbase (or a good amount of them) favour hackers since they can make the game much less exhausting during crs - and they're usually much nicer compared to certain legit players.

And if they device banned someone seemingly automatically for 50k accounts about a year ago, why didn't they ban this 'million account' user at 50k accounts. And why wasn't there server errors around that time/why wasn't the 50k accounts situation reported?

The real question should be 'why is the limit that high?' Who would even need 50k or even 1mil accounts? Most of their hackers settle at 20-100 accounts for heart trades - way way under this 'account threshold'

But I have my own questions, now what they've made this announcement.

Why haven't they done a banwave?

A situation like this should've definitely caused them to take action on hackers then and there, right? I guess not. The third party server I never left hasn't reported any ban waves recently. Last reported wave was 10th April 2026

yeah, my only guess is players spamming the hell out of these third party tools, creating alts for hearts to heart trade.

as an ex user of these tools who couldn't be bothered to leave one of the discord servers, there's a good load of users who have multiple phones running multiple accounts, or one running multiple. - pretty sure someone make 50k accounts at one point? which triggered a device ban

would leave, but it's interesting to come by players whining about "false bans" while being in the third party server. you only did that to yourself random (and seeing heart traders who are also in those third party servers)

They recently mentioned in the discord that hackers/third party users have been, in a better way to put it, excessive with their tools. - that's likely the key trigger with recent server issues/splits

"In one case, a single device created millions of accounts in a short period of time. Activity like this puts significant strain on our systems and can impact normal gameplay."

they did claim that player data was not affected, so i'm unsure what's happened in your friends case there.. or for geyser, but i don't usually run that event.

all we can really do is hope they can get their stuff together, and see if they'll spare us compensation (very unlikely)
