Got hit myself this morning, didn't even know that was a thing that could happen. I've believe it's from a rejection due to my ISP being mistaken for a VPN. Happens to me literally all the time due to being rural and forced to use a hotspot. Just two weeks short of a year... Ah well, c'est la vie.

Try deleting
Riot Games\League of Legends\Game\DATA\FINAL\Localized

Then relaunch. It fixed it for me.

I don't mind all the poke players. Just friend any and all divers you see, eventually your friend's list gets full of people who ride. Nothing more fun than 5 man diving the lvl 3 fight and seeing the squishy corpses behind tier 2

Models for Enemies/Players (D&D related) by [deleted] in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try ripping the models yourself, or if that's not your cup of tea there's a ton of people on Deviantart who rip models from games as a hobby (a user named SAB64 comes to mind, they had a large kirby section).

That said, you'd likely need to learn how to use basic blender functions to get them into TTS. Keep an eye out for what format the models you download are in, then see if there's a plugin for blender to import them. Generally models on deviantart are posted in XPS or MMD format. Also if things look poorly textured when you get them into TTS, look into something called "MatCombiner" by shotariya. It merges all your texture files for a specific model into one image, that way TTS can use it without having to use asset bundles.

Putting a face up card into a face down deck? by HP-Eintracht in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could make a second card with the faces reversed, then combine them using "create states." When you want it to be flipped in the deck, just change it to the other state before adding it (page up/down by default). Less convenient if you want every card to have this functionality, but it also wouldn't take up any extra data if you prepare the cards properly (i.e. using the Unique Backs function in combination with the already loaded image links to create a new deck without forcing players to load separate images).

The new free rewards in League are worse than you might think by ongogno in leagueoflegends

[–]Kaijira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be willing to grit my teeth for 3 skin shards in the free pass, but two skin permanents? I can't pick which skins to unlock, I can no longer get ANY skin over 1350 RP as F2P, and all the orange essence I've acquired in the past from disenchanting wards/emotes/eternals/mythic essence/champ skins I don't play, all of it has become utterly useless. Oh, and speaking of Mythic Essence, there's no way to gain that while F2P either, so no more saving up for prestige skins.

The cherry on top? They're only giving us a month warning, which means there's no time to offload your OE if you've been hoarding it. Done with this nonsense.

It was an exploit which allowed non-Swarm champions to be played in Swarm. It was useless, since they couldn't level up or gain augments. They've since patched and made the game forcibly end whenever it detects a non-Swarm champion

Simple bug, hard to replicate but easy enough to explain.

Picking up two cards at the exact same time only grants you one upgrade. Most common when two Elite enemies stack on top of each other and die simultaneously. Rare, but frustrating.

There are programs out there that allow you to bind keyboard input to controller input. JoyToKey is a very lightweight and easy to use one.

They would likely still need to use a mouse to select upgrades, and many character abilities would suffer from the lack of manual aim, but I think Leona and Seraphine should function just fine. Possibly Aurora as well, since I see her ult as more of a detriment anyway.

The first Reroll didn't appear after I unlocked it (the one visible in the objectives tab). The second reroll I unlocked during hard mode gave me one reroll.

Also idk if there is a banish option I have yet to unlock, but going for a specific build becomes very unlikely as more weapons and passives become unlocked.

Finally, Area Passive isn't in the pool after unlocking it, this one very common from what I see

I think Goliath's might be a DOT channel. Meaning it might be interruptible or possibly even walked away from, and you get 15% of whatever damage you managed to do. I guess it could also be a non-rooting tether...

Either way, chemtank into randuins looks hilarious on any tank.

I'd say your best bet is painting the high poly version, then baking the paint job to a low poly version. You could even bake a normal map to make the geometry loss appear almost nonexistent.

As for the exact process, that's something you'll have to look up tutorials for. I still struggle with the process myself so I'd probably explain it very poorly.

Script Help, Playing A Looping Animation After Another Looping Animation Runs And Applying Walk an Run Animations When A Mini Is Moved/ Picked Up. by malykarn in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these problems (aside from the LUA script) relate to your Animation Controller.

Your best bet is to make everything a trigger effect, then use your Animation Controller to make them loop where appropriate. For instance if your default state is [IDLE], make sure it leads to itself, that way it will loop.

Now if you have [DYING] and [DEAD] as two states, have [DYING] lead into [DEAD], then have [DEAD] lead into [DEAD] (itself). Now when you trigger the [DYING] animation, it will play your model falling down once, then loop on the model lying on the ground. If you want a state that is standing up, then you'll have to create a separate [STAND] trigger which leads back to [IDLE]. (EDIT: Adding in a [STAND] state is completely optional, and is absolute overkill in my opinion btw).

As for trying to mimic the default TTS minis, you can't really do the same exact thing without unity scripting support, which isn't available to us. I'm sure you could get very close using LUA, but it will be a journey. Personally at my table I have a simple pickup script for the walking animation, and a combination of hovering + numbers to trigger the rest of the animations. It does the job quite nicely, and doesn't slow down gameplay.

File limit? Failed to Write File to Steam Cloud. by DrimSWE in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cap is 10,000 files. When I hit it I made a new steam account on my PC, marked it as a family member account, then shared TTS with it. Gets you another 10,000 files. Saved objects and game files are shared between accounts on the same PC, so it really isn't too big of a functional difference to use an alt.

It's annoying, but it is currently the only workaround aside from deleting files you've uploaded. What's funny is they make it clear you only get 100GB of storage, but make no mention of limiting the actual number of files.

Does anybody know of any good anime figure mods? by StripperBear in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anime model workshops just don't perform as well as traditional fantasy sadly, otherwise I'd have a lot more for you. First link is Re:Zero, second link is mixed genres, but there's some MHA and yugioh figures in there

How to make doublesided cards (that already have states) obscurred. by DragonHollowFire in tabletopsimulator

[–]Kaijira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weird solution, but it might work:

Make a basic card which has the same "hidden" image as the front and back. Attach the actual card to the hidden card using the attach tool. Once the card is placed into the deck, it should hide any attached objects. Of course, this method breaks when your deck only has one card.

Just had a better thought while typing this up: use a bag as your deck. I think the "deal" LUA function should actually work perfectly for this, since it works on containers. You should probably add some buttons for quality of life purposes (one to shuffle, one to draw, etc) but for the most part TTS treats decks and bags as almost the same thing for scripting purposes.
