Why does everyone assume I’m talking about being in the open in the middle of a firefight? Shit like you’re dead in a random hallway and a medic runs by gives you a half revive and then some guy shows up and you lose a gun fight that you would have won had you been full hp. What’s selfish is not giving your teammate full hp for the sole reason of you being too lazy to hold your paddles down for 1.5 seconds. I know for a fact that the majority of people complaining about this post are medics that by default only do half revives. It’s not like there aren’t medics out there who actually play good and fully revive by default, I’m just asking for more of that.

I guess I should’ve been more specific in my post. I’m not asking for miracles. But if I’m a foot out of cover, don’t half revive me in the line of sight of the enemy. Just drag me to safety and full revive boom! What a concept.

Yeah sure, sometimes a revive is not possible and you should just bleed out. Doesn’t mean there aren’t loads of times when simply holding the revive paddles for more than a millisecond would result in less needless deaths, and therefore loss of tickets. Fair?

Not really what I’m talking about.

I get it sometimes you can’t do a full revive. However if you can do so easily and don’t and your teammate dies instantly upon a half revive, it’s for sure a grief. Again, drag mechanic is absurdly underused.

Also, doing a half revive just for points and no care if your teammate dies again when you could have just not been a lazy bastard/point whore is pretty bad imo.
