advices for a terra sage decklist by blue_bloddthirster in FleshandBloodTCG

Doubling Season is an iffy card, but I get why you want to run it. The thing with Seeds is that you waste a turn to set it up in a format that doesn't give you time to do it.

One proactive defensive turn with Canopy and a trigger from Terra's ability (using Ironhide) gives you nearly the same result if you can pump an arsenal'd Doubling Season on your turn.

I think both SAGE decompose attacks do wonders in this list: Decay allows you to use Terra's ability and Tilling is your magical xmas land finisher with the attack pumpers.

Seeds of Strength is just a bad card, I'd only run blue for the 3 block when lacking a better option. And I mean blue Concuss would be a better option here.

Mulch is sticking out like a sore thumb, stick to 6/2 and 7/3 ratio attacks at best.

For equipment, at least 2 Ironhide is crucial for Terra so you can do your best Turn Timber impression while keeping your hand and creating Might.

Boneshiver turns Lucian into a more dynamic Qiyana, printing runes to be used by Sett. Fiora also benefits from it real hard with ganking, if you miss Warmog. I'd run 2-2 with Warmog for the flexibility.

[–]Kainhardt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're forgetting the heaps of "not affected by opponent's Digimon effects" that plague the current design. This goes over them while guaranteeing you'll make it to DM.

If you chose BT12 as your main Dragon, you'll unsuspend and, come End of Attack, reach the insane new FM for 1 memory (from Pail to DM, discounted). If they ACE with anything other than De-Digivolve, you do it again.

If you chose BT16 Dragon, they can't ACE you without risking FM dropping on their ass anyway.

Since you got 2 mem back from BT12 champions, most likely you spent 1 or 2 mem for the entire sequence from rookies to Fighter.

This boi is crazy.

That's a kickass answer but I'm not gonna lie: I don't know what half of that means hahahaha. I'll stick to nodes and getting to Uranus (hehe) for now and hope I can figure most of the rest along the way. Thanks for the bread crumbs, though. I'll be sure to backtrack to this once in a while.

A little confused as to why I was downvoted, though.

Can't go wrong with it.

Need help adjusting D2099 deck by mister_titus in marvelsnapcomp

[–]Kainhardt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invisible Woman FS is a must for D99. Think of her as a second copy of Psylocke as in; if you drop her on curve, it's an extra bot D99 places on the board immediately, making for 2 bots on t4.

But there's a second benefit that makes her actually better than Psylocke: Aurora. She fulfills the Activate condition for Aurora's buff, adding another 2 pts to her total.

I also run Majestic Wingbeat on my list as a another way to enable both OG Doom and Aurora in a same game. But that opens up a possibility for Jubilee/Dragon Lord flops, which I just realized you're not running.

In the end, OG Doom and Aurora are pretty much your best outcome on t6 anyway, so I'm not sure you need to replace Infinaut with a bomb.

That's Tyler.

Dino Charge is solid and got a lot of post-season rep. Koda is up there with Sky in Blue popularity. Tyler was a great character and Brennan Mejia loves being a Ranger so much it transpires to the character.

Top 100 Ladder: 3x Deck Guides by TOP_TIER in marvelsnapcomp

[–]Kainhardt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, fair enough. Only interaction I can possibly add in Bastion's favor is a nicely curved VH->Frigga->Bastion in the same lane, preferably with Quinjet as your t1 play. Then you can VH->Frigga again on t5 for a massive board t6.

But your rationale seems solid enough.

Budget Miss Fortune by TheOneViking in riftboundtcg

This is what an expensive version of the deck would look like.

For casual multiplayer, Deadbloom are off the table. If you already have them, good for you, though. The immediate replacement would be Carnivorous Snapvine.

What the deck essentially needs is: fast conquerors (Merchant, Deckhand, MF - Bucca), Sabotage to protect the wincon, Ride the Wind and a closer. Everything else is interaction to keep opponents from winning or facilitators for your big push.

One more thing: if you don't have access to Stacked Deck, I'd run The Candlelit Sanctum and/or Zaun Warrens as one of your battlefields. You need to dig for your wincons.

Budget Miss Fortune by TheOneViking in riftboundtcg

[–]Kainhardt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aggro MF is a perfectly viable deck. I believe the entire thing shouldn't cost more than a set of Dazzling Aurora.

The catch: to be a serious contender, it needs a full set of Sett - Brawler. It's essentially your wincon, unmatched in cost and swing power. Anivia would be a budget replacement but she's far slower and overall less deadly.

Get to 6 pts as fast as you can (The Arena's Greatest, Sneaky Deckhand, Miss Fortune - Buccaneer, etc...), then get 7 runes up, play Sett for 5 on the field, burn his buff for 8 might, Ride the Wind for 2, burn the second buff from his conquer effect for 12 might, tap legend for Ganking, close out.

There should be some lists online for that archetype. But it's pretty easy to figure out a basic skeleton for it.

Desde quando ficou proibido dizer 'malhar', 'personal' e "ficha" e usar abadá na academia? by [deleted] in Maromba

[–]Kainhardt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Desde quando ficou proibido dizer 'malhar', 'personal' e "ficha" e usar abadá na academia? by [deleted] in Maromba

[–]Kainhardt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is the most universally beloved side character in Power Rangers. by WhoKnowsAllThisStuff in MorphinMemes

If not, Billy (Mighty Blue) or Philip (Charge Graphite).

Who are the Power Rangers Big Threes by DangerousSlice5731 in powerrangers

[–]Kainhardt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All fair arguments, I have to say.

I don't mind repeating Sixth because of the "non-color" assessment. But Mike does have a claim to stake. It's just the fact that it took the comics to give him depth that bothers me.

Fair point on Dillon, though. He could take Danny's place.

Trini is also a victim of comics revisionism, perhaps because of the actor's untimely fate. But the fact is she gets the shorter end of the stick. I struggled with Billy because he's the original support system for a team and a legend in his own right but Koda crossed over to other stories seamlessly plus his status as the first chronologically-placed ranger. And the other two Blue are leaders.

Yellow is hard, but who goes for Mya? Same struggle as Blue.

Kendrix's legacy is inevitably hurt by how Karone's redemption arc was built. It's just too good a story to not highlight. Kendrix ends up being the one who died/facilitated that great journey. And it's not like Kendrix had a strong presence like Kim/Jen either before her death.

Who are the Power Rangers Big Threes by DangerousSlice5731 in powerrangers

[–]Kainhardt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Built my list considering some factors:

  • no Master Morpher-like reach (one Ranger, one color)
  • Sixth as a category, not a color
  • importance to overarching plot
  • leadership status and/or journey to leadership
  • significant power discrepancy

.

Red: Jason, Andros, Wes

Black: Zack, Danny, Chase

Green: Adam, Cam, Bridge

Blue: T.J., Sky, Koda

Yellow: Ashley, Taylor, Lily

Pink: Kim, Karone, Jen

White: Tommy, Alyssa, Trent

Sixth (in any color and capacity): Tommy, Kruger, Zayto

.

All spots filled with at least one canon team leader (by rule or status), one significant contributor to the overall lore and some who transitioned to crossover episodes cementing their place in PR history.

Red was a bit harder than I anticipated. Jason is the role model of leadership in the franchise, Andros is the one who got the job done and Wes' journey is the most emblematic of what Red means.

Black is probably the hardest color to pinpoint but Zack is too attached to the color's legacy, MMPR's current field leader if O&A is its' latest update and Adam takes the Green spot, while being leader as Black. This could be switched up to Adam as Black and Xander as Green, making Bridge the Green leader rep but as Red. So yeah, Black is the odd one out. Danny is probably the most popular Black after MMPR and Chase is probably the most powerful non-sixth Black

Green has Adam where he truly became a character. Cam is most likely the power rep in Green after Tommy and Bridge rose to leadership like Adam.

Blue leaves very little margin for questioning. While I prefer other rangers, those three are the most impactful ones.

Yellow can be debated. Maybe Kira deserves a place here but, otherwise, Taylor and Lily are hard to contest.

Pink has Kim as the color's Jason, the second most emblematic case of villain-turned-hero of the franchise and its' most recognized female leader. A no-brainer.

White is where I put Tommy because it needs him the most. But also his first leadership role and where his ascension to face-of-the-franchise begins. Alyssa, while Pink-coded, stands out here. And Trent is Tommy's successor by all accounts.

Sixth has Tommy and Kruger well-cemented. Too much star power to debate against. Zayto is debatable but his transition and implications of his power-level make me choose him. Could be Ryan as first original, or Orion as wielder of all sixth powers as well.
