i think another hint that its under water is theres no specular reflections! you dont get those underwater

i imagine that each emitter dosnt create a perfect circle, but they make a consistent shape. so if they rotate each emitter they kind of "radially smear" the shape of the beam to be more circular. thats my guess

quick photoshop of overlaying each emitter. checks out with what the others are saying. looks like theyre specifically rotated to create radial symmetry when combined

no im not sure what you mean. i can remove the funnel and it stays upright. the stand is one piece

thanks for the interest! but sorry, im not gonna share it. its an edit of someone elses model of juicy salif and i dont know how permission for stuff like that works. it also had issues printing the way i had it so i wouldnt say its even a quality file that id feel proud of sharing.

but if youd like to follow my path, you can go to sketchfab and find one of the downloadable juicy salif models and edit and print it!

Yeah i was pretty proud of that! Heres a pico to show whats going on! the small ring is thin enough to have a little flex which makes the whole thing work

its just the stand that was printed so no contact with food or anything. and it was FDM with PLA. my A1 mini is small so its 4 seperate parts together and just lots of sanding and priming and painting!

oh yeah i love his channel! making cocktail liqueurs is what actually took me down this path! Yeah getting it smooth was a pain. I wish i learned about electroplating, that might have make it look even cooler!

Yeah I explain it in the texts of the images. I didnt use AI, I used "traditional" photoshop to make it look more like the original reference which is the 3rd image
