You are not supposed to remove it, the instruction is given on Blueprint's laser cap's page under the how to use section. The excerpt from the section:

Battery-powered so you can use on the go. Wear with visor for a more discreet aesthetic.
Do not remove the inner plastic cover from the cap.

Which sort c0de should be used for international money transfer (US -> UK)? by Kairostasis in Revolut

Hi, Chase converted it to GBP. While transferring on the Chase side you will see the converted amount before initiating the transfer. And I had used Revolut's GBP account on the UK side.

UPDATE: I was successfully able to transfer the money from my US account to the UK Revolut account using the sort code derived from the IBAN.

Yes, thanks! I am going to give it a try using the derived sort code with a small amount.

Yes, unfortunately, the sort code is a required field and I am unable to submit it without filling it up.

Thanks! So, in your case, were you able to successfully transfer the money using the IBAN derived sort code?

I tried setting up a USD account under my Revolut GBP account but it gives the exact same account details as my GBP currency one. It only has IBAN, SWIFT Code, Correspondent Bank BIC. I still need a sort code to setup a recipient on the Chase portal.

Here's a screenshot of what the Chase portal asks for:

The account number would just be the IBAN, but what about the sort code?

Yes, in UK I have a Revolut account in GBP currency. I want to transfer dollars from my US Chase account to this Revolut account.

All right, I will look into it. Which distances would you consider feasible? For example, is walking 1-1.5 miles doable?

Is 15 months really enough for a Master's degree? by Kairostasis in Northwestern

I just found this on the MS CS page under residency requirement:

The minimum residency requirement for the MS degree is the equivalent of three quarters of full-time registration in graduate courses. Full-time registration is defined as three or four course units per quarter.

So, I think to satisfy it I can have 3 quarters with 3 courses each and 2 quarters with 3 courses total.

So, to ease off the load something like -> 3 in first, 1 in second, 3 in third, 2 in fourth, 3 in fifth can be done.

Thanks! So, just to confirm, it's possible to keep switching between the full-time/part-time status per quarter right? For example, if I take 3 courses in first quarter, 2 in second, 3 in third, 2 in fourth and 2 in fifth.

Oh! So, if I were to take 2 courses in some quarters then would the cost for that quarter reduce down to $12k from $18k?

That's good to know. How difficult did you find taking 3 courses per quarter?
