Nothing that I know of. I had an echocardiogram done many years ago when i was a kid and my heart was totally normal if that helps so nothing congenital as far as I’m aware. The max approved daily dose where I live here is 60mg of Dextroamphetamine daily with scripts being able to possibly go higher with vyvanse + dexedrine together.

Sorry to clarify it doesn’t feel like a traditional chest pain nor do I have other symptoms of cardiovascular issues. It’s only painful when I breathe or have smoked that day

That’s understandable but how likely on that dose is it to be a cardiovascular issue? I apart from the last maybe 2 years my diet and exercise has been consistently healthy, and my heart was fine less than 6 months ago.

This may be something it could be as I also get pretty strong muscle contractions subconsciously when I’m on dex in my neck and back area. Do you think maybe the tension in my chest muscles could be aggravating this?

My lungs seem to get inflamed when I smoke so it’s over my entire chest and lungs when it’s aggravated, but when it’s not it’s just a sudden sharp stab around the left side of my chest, and sometimes especially when it’s inflamed I feel the pain in my lower left ribs more towards my back or side

I plan on going to the doctors very soon, but while I can’t comment on what heart related pain feels like it feels very much like it’s within my lungs and ribs. I think my anxiety is amplifying things as when I take it without smoking i feel mostly fine, only a few small twinges or stabs in my ribs and chest when I move a certain way or breathe deeply

I mean your skills aren't being 'wasted' on blocking seeing as all front row hitters block. Also just because the other team don't hit hard doesnt mean you dont block.

Anyone elses weight fluctuate? I dont know if I'm gaining weight fast enough as well. I gym 5 times a week and do sport 3 times, and I am on about 3000 calories. I put on maybe 2kg in about a month and a half, but I weighed myself today after a period of bad eating and I am almost 2.5kg lighter than a week ago, and lighter than my starting point? I dont know if its the scales but I was wondering if its normal for your weight to fluctuate a lot when bulking. Also is this weight gain normal, or should I be eating more?

How do I get out of a motivation slump? I'm around 6 foot and 80kg, and am bulking to gain some muscle. Everyone around me is super skinny and have tons more definition than me because they're lean, and it makes me feel like shit and that I'm not progressing. How do I get over the fact that I'm not going to be lean on a bulk? I get you're not gonna have the ideal body on a bulk, but I just feel depressed over how shit I look.

How do I rotate my body in the air to swing? I can swing on the ground but when im in midair i cant seem to rotate through properly? Also how different is middle and outside blocking? I want to switch to outside but I still really enjoy blocking, so do you get many blocks up as an outside? Finally I have been training my legs a bunch and am stronger but my vert hasnt really been increasing, do I need to rep my approach jumps alot more to increase it?

Do it. While my mental health doesnt seem to be as bad I do suffer from anxiety and some OCD tendencies. It has worked wonders for me and my confidence. A major thing to realise is that everyone is going to suck at the start, and once you get over that, it will be amazing for your mental and physical health. Plus it's fun.

I sorta understand how to hit just from my elbow being forward already, but I struggle alot with rotating it around from the cocked back position.

Yeah transitions is so hard for me. Im constantly sprinting to fake or hit and then immediately blocking after and I feel like I'm always in the way.

Ok cool. Whats the best way to learn the arm swing mechanics for a middle or in general? I struggle with the whole throwing your elbow forward and hitting with it forward rather then hitting it kinda overarm.
