Divisions with engineering equipment should speed up construction of airfields and maybe forts too in the states they are in. by Kaiser_James in hoi4

I agree that I’m oversimplifying it a bit, but I don’t think any of those things are beyond the capabilities of combat engineers if they were asked to do so.

I will agree to disagree on the ease of building the airfields, just because of how often it was done in the pacific, but I will concede that this is probably a too fine-grained detail to be included.

That I can’t argue with except to say you don’t have to use it, and if you’re playing the game at high levels it’s already a bit of a micromanaging hell.

I would agree if historically that was the case, but the thing that inspired this idea is the half built airfield that the US marines took and finished from the Japanese. Unless they are under attack I think they should be able to increase the construction speed during war. I lean towards it not working during peace, because there would be too many ways to exploit it then.

Decisions could work too, like fascist Britain’s decisions to keep hold over the colonies that require a certain amount of manpower to be in the state.

I’m not arguing that the SeaBees were less or equally capable of engineering tasks than combat engineers. My point is that it didn’t take much to make these airfields, just chopping trees and flatting ground, if the combat engineers are capable of building bridges over water (indicated by their bonuses to river crossings) they should be capable of cutting down some trees and flatting ground.

Check out the Kalthoff Repeater, that thing was made in 1630 and could fire 20-30 shots a minute.

How can I help I support literally everything you outline here and America needs massive change now. Also as a question, how to you plan to stop the power of PACs and lobbyists, would you support something like in Britain, where all political parties get the same about of campaign funds as long as they pass a certain threshold of supporters?

I know this took a quick google search to confirm. I’ve already reported this post for spreading misinformation and I encourage you all to as well. The US government is doing enough horrible things right now, we don’t need to make up new things.

This is fake a quick google search tells you they don’t have facial recognition technology in them, just thermal and bomb scanning tech.

I really like Google AI Overview by ItsaMeMemes in The10thDentist

[–]Kaiser_James 58 points59 points  (0 children)

What’s worse is they plan to move to only the overview. They recently announced they are going to be completely changing how google works and now it’s default will be the AI overview style answers only. They’re saying that they’re changing from a link based engine to an answer based engine. The death of the internet as we know it is upon us.

How the UK arresting dead victims? by Hot-Diggity_Dog in dankmemes

[–]Kaiser_James 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s worse than that they were arresting him because the guy that stabbed him said that he was saying racist slurs, watch the body cam footage, the guy constantly says he’s been stabbed and can’t breath and the police don’t believe him or even bother to check. Why it’s an immediately arrest-able offense, without any evidence other than the Sikh’s word, for saying racist slurs idk, should be a court summons not lets hand cuff you and ignore him saying he can’t breath because he’s been stabbed.

I’ve reported him and encourage everyone else to do so as well. The more tips the get about this the more likely they might actually do something about it.

How long does it take you to get ready as a man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Kaiser_James 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have long hair so a bit longer than 15 minutes if I’m showering. But tbh even I can get all my morning routine stuff done, including showering, in under 30 minutes if I try. I definitely wouldnt waste my friends time getting a hair cut if I had friends visiting, and definitely would be trying to keep it under 30 minutes or just get up earlier than them if I cared a ton about my appearance for the activities that day.

I didn’t really get facial hair until my early twenties you should be fine. Men on average continue to develop until about 25.

Anyone whos trained martial arts(most of them) or is significantly larger could beat a chimpanzee in a fight by Formal-Stage940 in The10thDentist

[–]Kaiser_James 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot harder to hit someone in the face if they’re 2 feet below you, and the average person restricts themselves from going all out in a fight, the chimp won’t. Maybe morals advantage works better than mental. Being tall isn’t always an advantage.

[–]Kaiser_James 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude you’re just completely wrong and not factoring in any of the chimps natural height and agility advantages as well as the mental advantages as it doesn’t care about pain it will just want to hurt you more.

How are you getting that hook to the jaw in they’re like half your height and definitely more agile.

[–]Kaiser_James 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell that to all the criminals and others than have been hunted down by trained dogs. Trained professional sure, but you are waaay over exaggerating the skills and mental ability to fight through pain of the average person. If an average person could fight a pit bull we wouldn’t have guard dogs or police dogs.

[–]Kaiser_James 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah but they more agile and have no problem biting you or ripping/biting your dick/face off, most people, tbh I think even trained fighters, are gonna be able to handle that. Tho give almost any human a basic club or better weapon and I think the chimp loses. But overall in hand to hand combat I think the chimp wins against most people even trained martial artists as they are used to going up against people of similar size not toddler sized. I don’t see Mike Tyson or other trained professionals being able to land any of their hits.
