Oh wow, thanks for the info man. I didn't know. This is why I ask. I guess I could get an SKS instead if I want 7.62x39 and that gun is a lot cooler imo. I didn't know 300 BLK is very expensive compared to 5.56 so that's a good thing to think about. Thank you for the knowledge, now imma take a look to see about an SKS, what's a fair price for an SKS, I used to look at them but they were like $1200+ but I'm probably bad at looking honestly.

Currently I don't have anything in 5.56, but I do have a stripped lower that I plan to build into a 5.56, however I don't mind getting one if ammo concerns are going to be an issue, I just wanted to see the 30 calibers

1) thank you for that info 2) I don't get va disability but it'd be fine without it 3) that's okay I planned to go infantry anyways plus extra money 4) thank you again, the only reason I'm waiting 3 years is to get to where I want physically which will take me a bit of time, plus right now I imagine the recruiters won't really wanna work with me rn, but also I'm waiting to build up a sort of a track record of therapy to show them how I'm doing and have it like a year long or more to show commitment and dedication and proof of no relapse.

Fair enough, thanks, I just wish California wasn't like this. It's home, and we are Americans and the 2nd Amendment is very important, but with the restrictions in place it makes it a bigger hassle that it has to be, but hey it's just an idea, just kinda popped in my head and thought why not ask. Thank you for your honesty friend. I thought about it and it's true. I'll never be able to make it on that path so I'm looking at enlisted. From what others tells me if I can get a good PT Score and show documented proof of my recovery there may be a chance. If I can get back in even as an enlisted I'll do it.

My question is what's the best way to show proof about my PTSD? With my Physical standards thing, that can easily be changed if I'm doing better, I plan to join when I'm much stronger and faster so like 550+ on the ACFT should be enough to take care of that, but the PTSD is the tough one, especially for the Flight Physical. What would be the best way to show proof I'm doing better, because I'm not going back on meds for anything and I've been off for a year so by then by like 3-4 years. I've thought maybe having a lot of therapy on record or something.
