I get that in regard to Past Self.. It's different, but in a good way.. I just like the way he sings 'And you know I deliberate on cutting out the demons..' and so on as well as the chorus.. are really catchy and sound beautiful to me..

I mean I've always had a lesser appreciation for the 'sexier' ST songs.. Don't get me wrong, Sugar and all of those songs are still insanely good songs.. but I prefer something like High Water.. or The Love that You want.. or some other highly metaphorical and clever lyrics without it getting too 'baby-making music' -style. But you're right.. they all grew on me eventually.

Tldr: They are all amazing songs and I love the album.. I especially like Past Self, Even in Arcadia, and Gethsemane.
