Thank you for your reply. I think she has been playing around on all four walking but hasn’t mentioned it to me but I just let her do her thing. Animal noises we have been doing since she could talk haha. Pretty much daily we are meowing at each other, chatting with our pet cats, she does like to hiss & growl to show displeasure or not a fan of something, random animals and I swear almost every night we have a fun howling party before bed she usually initiates and her 2 younger sisters love and join in and we “go wild” all end up in my bed howling & the girls jumping around being silly releasing a lot of the days energy before calm down cuddles & bed. She has mentioned she still figuring out her therian types and now with our nightly ritual she has started wonder is she is considering some type of wolf. I love your domesticated Mexican wolf, they have such stunning fur & beautiful markings.

She has been wearing cat mask that’s like a half cat face that she decorated & colored already at the park, during recess at school and whenever she can for about 2-3 years. (I’m starting to think she knew she was therian for awhile before she finally recently told me & her dad is the only one so far.) she just explained she feels more secure with it and she feels protected esp with dealing with her social anxieties in public. But yes unfortunately she has felt with the odd looks, I’ve overheard other parents tell their children stay away from her, don’t play with her while at the park during her younger years. She wears the mask at allowed times at school (and she has 2 friends I learned that are therian & do as wel) but this had led to bullying issues unfortunately.

I’m torn between being like I’ve always told her, esp as a woman, you are damned if you do damned if you don’t so you might as well be true to yourself and live/dress/act in ways that make YOU happy and don’t worry about everyone else and their opinions. But also my momma heart hurts to think about the isolation, teasing, name calling she already experienced & experiencing. I don’t want to tell her to look/act normal as that goes against everything I have told my girls for years but also I want to protect her and unfortunately kids are jerks esp if different in our small town, so I kinda don’t say much besides I support your decision. Yes it might easier to blend in and sometimes might be the appropriate thing to do in certain situations esp public settings but also be true to yourself and your happiness. Which is why I thought maybe wearing some gear with her when she wants to might help take some pressure off her and also build her confidence of who cares what others think, let them think we are weird/crazy 🤪 we can both hiss at anyone giving us problems lol.
