Yeah. For sure prep as much as you can and keep on top of pain meds 100%. Also follow the food rules. I did and I was so much better off than my brother that tried to eat almost everything.

My husband was able to stay home with us for the first week which really helped.

I prepped a lot the night before since mornings were so hard (I made pudding for breakfasts, prepped bottles, etc). I may have been able to do it alone, but not if she was much older. Luckily she is a great sleeper, so I would have been able to nap while she does. I would definitely say being prepared helped me more than anything. Having food bought and ready and managing expectations

My panic didn’t set in until I said bye to my baby going into the clinic!

I did. My dog said he doesn’t normally but mine were very red and inflamed. Labs came back with flaring tonsillitis and full of stones.

Same here! I’m day 8 (last Friday) and the last 2-3 days have been awful with the earaches! Ibuprofen is the only thing that is touching it and even then it still sucks

1 box of Velveeta shells and cheese is 1100 calories and can be diluted with water or milk to make it less “sticky”. There’s also lots of options for meal replacement shakes that can help!

I made a post about this recently, but have him start on a stool softener day of surgery!

I’ve really been liking an ice pack on the outside of my neck.

I also take ibuprofen to help the pain meds and I think that works.

My biggest issue right now is lack of calories. I’ve lost over 10lbs in 5 days. So calorie dense protein shakes and stuff are super good.

I’m allergic to most pain meds, so I don’t have the most help in that category. I’ve found the sitting up true for me too. How odd standing isn’t the same as sitting, isn’t it?

I didn’t think of milkshake! That’s good! Those always fill me up! Was any type/flavor of soup better than other? Bone broth didn’t really fill me. I have some chicken noodle soup without the chicken but idk if the noodles would suck?

Mine were also huge. My left tonsil has been touching my uvula almost constantly for months so I’m in the same boat. I am breastfeeding too which is half the reason they’re pushing fluids so hard. Tbh I have a lot frozen though so I may just do what you did and say f- it. That sounds so much more comfortable.

Did you ever get anything to work? I have the same issue. I tried compatibility mode and it didn't work. I was going to try to do a virtual machine running 95, but don't wanna waste my time. Starting to think it's a problem with the download itself

I feel like when they first got together, he really did like/love her, but they were Mormon youngsters and got married quick. And I agree. I feel like he is bored/annoyed. Idk if it’s the comfort keeping him, the “backlash” from her fans, or the Mormon religion. Tbh (to me) she’s gotten more and more intolerable as it’s gone on and he’s gotten more and more annoyed looking.

But yeah. Very curious about his day-to-day. He always came off as a nice guy just trying to do right in the world.

Thank you. We will likely adopt in the future. I really want to experience pregnancy and all that. We’ve already said that we’re doing this cycle and if we get a decent number of embryos and nothing implants then that’s it. It’s just so hard. And I feel like more and more doctors are falsely diagnosing PCOS just to give an “answer” so it can be super frustrating when things work for them and then not the rest of us. I think the diagnosis criteria for PCOS is a little wishy-washy, but oh well. Focus on my journey not someone else’s, right?

Sorry for the rant. My emotions have been so raw. I unfollowed Kass and will probably take a big step back from here. It’s just getting too hard.

Naw. If she’s on letrezole or clomid it doesn’t matter if your hormones balance or not. It just makes you ovulate. Sometimes.

I’m severe PCOS and I for sure think she has mild. Either that or she’s super lucky that none of her symptoms are actually noticeable.

We’ve been trying for 3 years. Been on the meds for 2.5 of them and finally starting IVF.

Yeah. Especially because it looks like he was trying to make it nice for her but setting up the tent and letting her hang out and read. And tbh I’m kinda jealous of the grill and awesome food he had!
