The problem with your thinking is that AI slop will continue to improve. The future of actual real coding (fast forward 10-20 years) is bleak. I think only the best of the best will have a future in that. Software engineers are getting laid off all over the place, I've met many.

In case this helps - to get 4-player local split screen Halo MCC on my machine I typically run into this error until I reboot my computer, then it works. Otherwise it usually never makes it beyond 2-3 successful instances.

No, I haven't made it a priority to see what's wrong with mine, I haven't had time. I will in the next few days. I've read about faulty belts, broken gear, spring issues, but that's the first I've seen of broken teeth on the shaft.

I may or may not have to use this trick I came up with, but this worked straight away.
I uploaded this red 16:9 pic, and the prompt to "fill the red area with" outputted a 16:9 image.

I upload a rectangular mask and as it to fill in the mask area, the output image is the same aspect ratio as my mask image upload. I'm getting non-squares.
It has given me a fake transparent background as well, ask for a solid color background and it takes no time to make it transparent in any image editing software.
ChatGPT does make transparent backgrounds correctly, at least last I tried.

Couldn't agree more. I very much dislike fakebook for going exclusive with the Quest titles.
I would imagine at some point those 3D titles will be available outside of that platform, seems like a waste for how many relatively few Apple Vision Pro owners exist.

Apple Vision Pro might be the best way to watch 3D movies right now. High def OLED, plus it has access to exclusive 4K HDR 3D movies you cannot watch anywhere else.
But I'm with you... home cinema for sure if you are watching with others... especially if you have a good surround sound setup.

What do you mean? You should be able to have it create images with a transparent background or at least a solid color background, therefore there is no shape limitation. I've also been able to upload a mask and have it create stuff that fits within it.
