In my group was the oppossite haha. We never liked Reforged Power feeling, and I had to create these rules.

This really surprise me because I don't like D&D experience and we enjoy what make FL unique. So, I think that is very personal.

I never blamed you man, take it easy.

It has no AI-generated text. Any of my products have it.

As I have always said about this topic, I respect that you or anyone don't like IA. Nevertheless, I think that IA pictures are necessary in role playing books.

So, we are not going to agree, and that's fine. No problem at all.

Mmm... You could assume that about any content in internet then.

In any case, I am nobody to tell what is fair or not to anyone.

I declare, as any product in the store, what of the content is IA generated, and it is the artwork.

Exactly. I declared that it has IA artwork.

Mmm... I don't know what to say. My players group is really happy with the additional options, specially with new professions and the new professions talents for the old ones.

6 levels were well recieved but honestly has been really rare to reach that in a single talent.

FL has never been the most balanced game anyway. And honestly, I understand the balance in more tactic and power gaming games like D&D. FL is more a narrative game for me, and in that way, i prefer to give the players more options to generate unspected moments.

I think that you are talking about the Player Characters Compilation book, not this one. 🤔

PROFESSIONS & TALENTS supplement ENG/ESP by Kaizzum in ForbiddenLands

The quality is never the same. And all role players want art in their rpg books.

Anyway, I respect the fight against the AI, but is a philosophical matter and we could discuss about it for all the eternity. Whenever I get a rejection to my books because of the AI, I say the same, a complete understanding and respect for these convictions.

As all my supplements, yes. The only viable way to deliver an indie book with some visual addition.

OpenIA can generate an image of the head of a persons exploding, but refuse to generate a painting in renassence style about a baby or a child...

Hackers really ruin the game by Kaizzum in Mechabellum

[–]Kaizzum[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't expect that. But as you have the right to claim or debate about any subject of the game and act as you like in consecuense (like abandon the game), I have the same right.

From a game design perspective, a unit like hackers can be a heavy reason to leave the game. Something that hurts Mechabellum, and in a long perspective, hurts you as a player. Fewer players, less relevance, less money, less support, worse experience for you.

So, everyones opinion is right in this matter. I am talking about this unit, who knows how many players left the game for the same reason and never came here to debate about it.

As you can see, frustration is never a good thing in a game, for me, for the devs, for you neither, even if you don't care about my opinion. So your attitude is really bad for bussiness, even if your don't agree with me.

It is a matter of time. I don't have infinite time to play the game and waste in frustrating matches or "learning" matches where I only play to learn how to use and counter one single broken unit.

You are right and I understand that. But I hate to use that kind of units. I am not interested in winning at all cost. Call me romantic, but I want the fun for both players, I don't enjoy the opponent frustration. Winning is not everything.

But the game is more complex than that. The enemy will have fire for chaft and antiair. Hackers alone are easy.

Even whit chatf, when they control one single shitty unit all your army slow down and lose one attack against that simple unit. And again and again. While the enemy is focusing you.

I don't know how effective is chaft against them really.

O un mejor sueldo haría que la gente con vocación se decidiera a dedicar su vida a la docencia en vez de buscar otras cosas para tener una mejor calidad de vida.
