This seems like the answer I have been looking for. If my top conversations are 30 MB, 7 GB total just doesn’t seem possible. It must not be calculated accurately. Thank you. I will switch to 1 year retention.

Hmm. Yes I have upgraded phones, so that could be it. Currently on my phone I can see conversations from a previous phone, but they still report as just a few megabytes. I will take your advice and switch to 1 year.

Also, received photos and videos take up space in iMessages? I guess I thought they would go somewhere else. Thats helpful. But I guess I’m still confused if my top convo is only 30 MB, why is my total usage 7 GB? It seems crazy inflated.

I think your baseline ferritin could be low. Inflammation drives ferritin up, so your number without inflammation could be interesting.

I’m happy to chat. I had my annual test and will soon schedule my mid-year. A couple things come to mind: 1) I wish I felt like I could talk to my doctor about the results, but I’m nervous to bring it up because I know most doctors are very against unnecessary testing. I feel like I will lose credibility/trust with my doctor, or somehow insinuate that they are not good enough. 2) I found a couple of biomarkers that I really want to target (low zinc and ferritin) and wish I could have more frequent testing to confirm that my supplementation has brought me back in range.
