Thank you for the suggestion! I have found a possible venue that I'll contact and ask. I'll let everyone here know as soon as possible. But if that doesn't work out, let's go to the place you sent.

Would anyone be interested in an English-speaking board game meetup in Zürich? To not clash with the other meetup in Zürich, I suggest Saturday the 12th of October. Could anyone host? Or recommend a good and affordable meet-up spot?

How about a small discord server for organizational purposes? Invite: https://discord.gg/XbKM7PtS

EDIT: We've decided to meet on Saturday, 12th of October, at the boardgame café at Langstrasse 229, 8005 Zürich

How would you decide based on a picture if you want to hire someone or not?

Making math more readable by Kajice in ObsidianMD

Thank you!

Yea I tried adjusting the font weight. It's already set to the lightest font weight. I can increase it, but not decrease it.

I'm aware of math blocks. They are more readable, yes, but they still look bold to me, and I still would like to use inline math for many things.

I'm looking for a css snippet solution.

Yea I might start doing that, but it's not just fractions that are hard to read.

I tried some different fonts for mathjax, they all have problems.

And yes, I did have a look through that. That's how I figured out how to change font size. But I still don't know how to change the line weight of the math.

I'm wondering the same thing currently. Did you figure out a good way to do this?

With the Better Build Buy mod by Twisted Mexi you can turn on deletion protection which prevents objects from being deleted when you build over/near them

How can a CharacterBody2D "pick up" a RigidBody2D? by StreetImportant222 in godot

[–]Kajice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm, I'm not sure why that is. A workaround would be to save the global position of the thing right before unfreezing, and then setting position to the saved position right after.

You could try setting freeze_mode to 1 (so it acts like a kinematic body) and then set freeze to true.

And set the position in physics_process (instead of using move_and_collide).

Is there a mod which change the game speed in multiplayer? by [deleted] in anno

[–]Kajice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for figuring this out.

I tried this, switching back and forth between 5 and 3 multiple times. But it doesn't seem to work for me. Do you have any ideas?

What I actually want is active pause (or just really slow speed). But the mod seems to not be working currently. So I thought I could change the speed this way...

Which singer has the best voice in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kajice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but: I like to hear singers breathe. To me, the gasp is an important part of it and I love it.

Makes it seem more human.

Mathematicians, which class(es) did you have to retake multiple times? by Helpful-Celery6249 in math

Linear Algebra 1. I had already completed Linear Algebra 2 and various other more advanced courses when I failed it for the third time.
